So basicly this isn't working, no multiple sound from apps on the carplay unit, ie Google Maps and Spotify at the same time? So what's the use then of this update?
Thanks for the video, but for my opinion you forgot some important infos. The volume controlls on the mmi menu does cannot be used/work anymore to have different settings for siri, navi, music .. For Siri the mic of the phone will be used on full bluetooth. Maybe a second video with some examples should be a good way to inform the friends :) about advantages and disadvantages. You already explaind some restrictions.
Nice to know there's an update to my BMW CIC MMI system software since it has poor sound quality issue.

Will this work on ID6? My car has no aux input. Want to buy it but need a good sound quality like i'm listening to music trough bluetooth now?
I am interested to buy this mmi, i have evo id6, with this two mic options on, is the phone bluetooth connected directly to the car?
When i am using wireless android auto can i listen the car's FM radio and android. alert's like maps notify?
the phone connect to the car bluetooth directly (when choose audio by OEM Bluetooth); it can not listen the car's FM & navigation from Android Auto, they can not work at the same time.
Will that mic splitter work on the Android touch screen Radio's as well?

MMI CarPlay box or android screen? You can check the auxiliary cable connection, reconnect it again
I’ve just updated my MMI. When connecting my Bluetooth back to the BMW, do I select music and phone calls?
You can check again for my video , after update the software, it need to choose “ use OEM car BT channel “, then connect CarPlay and also connect to OEM Bluetooth, then in original choose “ Bluetooth “ as audio channel.
I have now updated the MMI box Carplay to the latest version you have provided for NBT and I turned on the BT Channel. The problem is now I get the notification message for Blitzer (iOS Appliation) in my mobile phone, which sounds very low as compared to the car audio and during this notifcation message the car audio (Music) remains silent.
How can I resolve this problem?
As I know, in Apple Carplay menu, click the settings (after you connected Carplay, get into Carplay menu (in car display side), and set off the "alert", that way, during you using carplay and driving, there is no extra message (alert) pop up.. you can try it.

I have a question regarding Bluetooth and WiFi connections.
Do I have to make all the below connections or any of them should be turned off to make the connection better/stable:
1. Bluetooth connection car (BMW) and iPhone.
2. Bluetooth connection MMi box (CarPlay) and iPhone.
3 WiFi connection between MMi box (CarPlay) and iPhone.
The music is working. But if I open the Waze, there’s no sound comes out. Can you give me some advise ? Thanks
