    Thank you! I didn't think of using the smokepowder barrels! It is so frustrating to throw the satchels because they just hit the floor so the only thing that I could get to work was the smokepowder that you get from the runaway gnome.

    A tip here: I found it easier to attack the guards and kill them all BEFORE I let Nere out. Once Nere is out, you can convince him that the guards had mutinied and killed each other, and with a good roll, he'll accept it.
    Being able to have this fight without Nere in it makes it a lot easier.

      This is what iv been thinking of doing since I keep losing. Plus it should give me advantage of suprise instead of having to react right off the rip

    During the fight I had a lot of issues with the gnomes switching back and forth as allies, enemies, and neutrals, it was very frustrating because when I cast a big spell (usually Fireball) it ends up backfiring and the gnomes turn on me all of a sudden now that I cleared out the initiative
