I was I high school when I get the chance to watch em at GAPO Battle of the Bands , Maria Capra our Daily Bread etc... I was inspired by their music and took it from there and formed my HS BAND all throughout college and even we had our family, we still play gigs occasionally and we never forget to sing their songs. Journey well to the next beyond Sir Walter. TY for the music
The keyboard player for Petrified Anthem, Neol Fallarme is a friend of mine. He has been in the US for a while. I met him a number of years ago when he was the keyboard player for a local band in town. I never put the face, the name, and the band from 30 years ago till 2010 when Noel and I had a chance to reminisce abut the old days in Manila.
Much appreciated for loading this. I've been living in Canada for 20 years and songs of Petrified Anthem always bring back memories from my college days. Thank you very much.
Thank you...Wouldn't it be so cool to see a band cover this just to hear it again live. There's something here I'm surprise none has tried yet....Come on man this songs going to fly. Mga Banda at present GISING (Ask PA first)
My fav track by Petrified Anthem! Ganda ng audio - Remastered?! Salamat for these magical 4 & 1/2 minutes. Gotta share this now with my batchmates - SBC HS '79
Does anyone remember a concert in Tagaytay in the mid-70s? Many bands played all night and thru to the following morning, maybe till 4 am or so. To me it was the Pinoy Rock & Rhythm equivalent of Woodstock. If anyone can provide details of that night, I'd love to reminisce...and fill in the blanks because I was so high on weed (as was everyone in the event) I don't remember much. I do remember it was freaking cold. But the music experience was a pinnacle for me.
Abot Langit, sa Sierra Grande Resort. That was a magical event for many of us, man! We were all high on everything, but most specially, Life back then.
Juan de la Cruz band,Maria Cafra,Anak Bayan,Florante,Aunt Irma,BanyuhayBoy Camara and After Birth,Circus band at iba pa kasama ko lagi habang nananghalian at nakikinig sa Pinoy Rock and Rhythm.
Peace be with you.
