This is the Scouse song of all time I've never been to any party wedding funeral event etc where this hasn't been played for me one of the greatest songs of all time by one of the most underrated bands to come from our beautiful city. They couldn't have picked a better song for Jürgen who is now a proper Scouser
This phenomenonal song takes me back to a place and time in my life that is still strong in my mind and heart. Picture this, I am 18 yrs old and remember dancing alone on the dance floor at a nightclub in Cairns FNQ Australia many moons ago with family and friends. Under the crystal ball in a world of my own a bit tipsy and the world outside didn't matter. Everyone was dancing, young and carefree. The lighting show setting the scene and and just lost in the music. How I loved and long for those times again. I am an old man now, but still can get it on down with the best of them. When my grandma was on the edge of dying to cancer, she told me to think of her everytime i heard this song, the evening she died my whole family got together to have dinner and to catch up about her good past, my grandpa turned on the radio and this was the first thing that came out of the speakers. I miss her and how happy she was, she was a great grandma, sadly i didn't get to see her that often..
