Did you even tell anyone about it or are you too macho. Sexism hurts everyone, in different ways. If it was a boy and you hit him the lesson would be not to look for revenge, because he probably has a hard life at home. Why is it any different in this case? Because she had different genitals? And what about the number of people every year who are victims of abuse or rape and are shut down or their case is left at the side lines? Is that fair? Who allows this behaviour to continue?
There's a lot more wrong with society than a teacher telling you not to hit a girl. A quick google search can tell you all you need to know but instead of actually trying to make a difference in a situation which harmed you, you decided to resort to violence and cry about it in a video which speaks about a worldwide issue which has been in place for as long as humans have been evolving. You're not special. She shouldn't have kicked you, and you shouldn't have punched her. It's pretty simple.

As for the movement as a whole, it may be better organized, but it's flaws are still readily discernible and persist. It's spokespeople and leaders are still largely of the radical variety (the so-called feminazi), and men are expected to just silently endure their insults and contempt. Any indignation (let alone even the feeblest attempt to defend his gender) is met with vocal efforts to silence any man (such phrases as "mansplaining" come to mind), and women who do so are called traitors.
Feminism has yet to publicly acknowledge that the ways they've gone about reaching the goals or acknowledging those goals achievement is a primary problem. Nor has feminism renounced the feminazi-style methods to continually push for additional privilege (as a form of "equality," of course) without accepting the responsibilities that go with them.
In short, feminism has yet to demonstrate that equality is the goal, and the truths I'm pointing out (uncomfortable as they may be) cannot be dismissed by moderates among feminists. Feminism is not synonymous with equality, and never will be so long as feminists take an adversarial attitude toward we who disagree.

The world revolves only around war for you? And even so, you choose to be ignorant and not comprehend the historical context, throughout history, women have actively participated in wars, even without being officially drafted. The fact that women weren't allowed to go to war in a lot of cases or get drafted as in most of the cases, was not due to any inherent lack of capability or willingness on their part but rather a result of gender-based discrimination and traditional gender roles that limited women's roles to certain domestic and supportive positions, and all of these restrictions were made by men. Also you don't acknowledge the fact that most men don't present to war even if they are drafted and choose to go to prison instead or flee the country. You choose to be meat for canons because some old men had a quarrel and they want to resolve it with men killing themselves in trenches, but instead of getting angry at the unjust system, you get ur anger out on women cuz they r not as miserable as you, even though most of them are so much more without having to get drafted to war

I am a girl and here is my view:
If you live in a developed country, US, Canada, UK, Australia, etc.. you’re FINE. The only reason why men on average get paid more is because men do the majority of coal mining and oil mining(is that correct?). Women tend to want to work in an office or something. Men work in offices too, but they also do labor intensive jobs. After having kids, women also tend to stay home and look after the kid while the man works. The only thing that needs to be solved here is men’s equality tbh. And rapes, because that’s a problem that’s going to be hard to solve.
If you live in a less developed country, you should be concerned about women’s equality. The reason why there are giant population booms are because women aren’t being educated. They’re taught that they’re just there to give birth and raise children. If women get educated and get involved in the work force, we get a more developed country and a more stable population.
Ugh whenever people want “equality” they’re just going to be going overboard. Why can’t we just have REAL equality where neither feminists or masculinists go overboard? If that means women have to be drafted into the military, I’m in. But hopefully political conflict doesn’t happen anytime soon.

yeah, not really. the wage gap increases enormously the higher up you go and generally feminists want to scrap the draft. we are very privileged, very lucky, to have been born in the first world. but just because we come from richer nations does not mean that we can’t or shouldn’t be focusing on issues in our own countries. it’s much easier to combat sexist policies in your country than ones in a different one, right? like if you wanted to you could hold a protest or go on the news etc so saying that feminists should be focusing on the third world is kind of just a way to ignore problems in the patriarchal societies that we all already live in.

      1. women have equal pay and equal opportunity. The wag gap is a myth. In fact, because of things like affirmative action and gynocentrism, men are unfairly discriminated against in favour of women. See affirmative action, see Google pay study.
      2. It is not the right to your body, it is the right to a child's. And even if that wasn't the case, men never had any reproductive rights since the inception. So if we go along with the (false) narrative that women lost their rights, all it did was make them equal to men. Isn't that what you just said feminism stands for? Equality?
You listed a bunch of things that should be in men's favour. How about you make those. reality before arguing for even more women's "rights". Because right now women are the privileged sex by FAR, and women have it 10000% easier than men do in 2023.

Why has the word become such an uncomfortable one? I will answer that for you Emma. The reason is because modern feminism doesn’t uphold the problems of both genders issues and prioritises women over everyone. We don’t see manny feminists talking about how men are expected to chat a girl up, how men are supposed to get an ungrateful girlfriend whatever she wants, how men are injured at work far more than women. We only hear women’s issues. Feminism doesn’t bring both genders to the table. Therefore it’s actually the opposite of gender equality which is ironic. The reason feminism still exists is because of one reason. People were not happy with what they had and believe that because they have been mistreated in the past they deserve handouts and have special entitlements. True reason is equality of opportunity not outcome. So Emma I don’t identify myself as a feminist I identify myself as a conservative. We believe all people have the same standards of human rights regardless of their age, gender, disabilities. And we bring both genders issues to the table without manning petty uneducated comparrisons.

Black Water please don’t tell me to shut up that’s not very nice. The same logic could be applied to the slaves they weren’t really allowed to get representation so white people stepped up for them. Feminism isn’t about equality it’s about lack there of and pushing an agenda that supports one gender to the point of where men’s rights are sacrificed.

    • @airwolfcentral169
      @airwolfcentral169 Před 4 lety +1

Black Water because women already have exceeded equality we don’t need feminism anymore. But people don’t want to let it die because they cling onto it as some form of identity. Just as we don’t need to fight slavery in America anymore because it’s gone. Feminists need to stop creating problems that don’t exist such as mansplaining (a sexist term) and use it to gain greater privileges in society. If anything it’s showing that feminists are too weak to do anything for themselves in society and need a hand out to accomplish something which is patronising. I want to work for what I get and so should women. There can’t be equality everywhere because the two genders are different. Such as the amount of women in the military. Equality of opportunity is what’s important not equality of outcome.

It just so happens that men have predominantly been more successful. There are huge ceo's whom are women too . I dislike anything that is based for one gender . We only ever see women fighting for women's rights . We even see men fighting for women's rights . But what about men ? We do not see men being fought for by women ( or very few least to say ) women do have equal rights and in most cases prof much more than men . Look at cases of single patented men being sacked due to commitments to their children but women have the freedom.
I'm all for equality if it is really equality .
There are just some jobs most women can't do too though as well as men due to physical implementation
I'm in the British army I see it daily

+LPS RainbowSparkle11 I believe we should stand for equality and that means BOTH sexes not one sex . Most feminists are deluded and actually have such discriminatory views against men. They call it equal rights but most women would be happy being better treated than men .

You say women are treated better than men in certain situations, and sure I would agree with you. However there are also situations that you have to acknowledge that men are above women in. Feminism isn't about simply women. It is about equality for both genders.

    • @ItsBigJC
      @ItsBigJC Před 7 lety +2

Christina Naumovski there are no issues where women are treated worse than men in the uk .
People call out on this pay gap shit but none of it is true at all
There's been studies on it and funnily though it was women calling it bullshit .
The word feminist itself is wrong .
Out of both sexes men are far more discriminated against .
I am all for it if a woman is worse off I'd fight their corner . But it just isn't that way .
We now live in a time where a man and a woman can commit the same crime and a man be punished harder .
Dare you ever hit a woman back too !
Where are all these feminists who are fighting for men's rights or fighting for equality for men .
It doesn't happen . It's bull . It's usually something a feminist says to justify themselves when truly they just want to be treated better than men .

She, a prominent, international figure, is speaking out for gender equality all around the world. Shouldn't we be happy about it? That we're finally bringing to the attention of the public that there are still SO many gender-related issues? She's not doing it for herself. She's rich. She's speaking out for the rest of us, that no one listens to. She's actually trying to fix the way things are. I don't understand why you're all so hellbent on poking holes in what she's saying. I just had to sit there and take it 'like a man', and nobody has ever spoken up for me or said how wrong it was for those people to pick on me? No. I'm not saying Emma is a terrible person or anything here, I'm making an observation; when women feel the effects of oppression or unfair societal expectations, there are people who will stick up for them. When this happens to men, there isn't anyone who will, stick up for us. The stereotype and bad mentality is that men objectively have it better, so when this sort of thing happens, we just have to take it because there is nobody to speak up for us, and we can't even speak for ourselves; men aren't allowed to express any kind of weakness or, to a lesser degree, femininity, so when we get treated unfairly we can't speak up about it since people assume women have it worse. :/

If you think you are not allowed to cry then how will you express your emotion? I have a lot of respect for man but it's the ugly fact that you don't express your emotion. And what will happen if u do? People will laugh at you? Let them why do you even care what they think about you when they don't even care about your emotion. Please be more free. Eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth. That is equality no if ands or buts about it. Equality means equal so I treat people how I would want them to treat me, i will try to be nice to everyone including strangers, but if someone is disrespectful to me, I will be disrespectful to them, if someone hits me, I’ll clench my fist and hit them back just as hard, no less no more. Did you not listen to her speech? She addressed it. Feminism is not a synonym for hating men. As for men’s rights, we’re open to talking about it but not when the topic being talked about is women’s rights. I rarely, if ever, see men talking about their rights. They do, but it’s only when women’s rights are being talked about. If those men do really care, why don’t they address it at times other than when we’re talking about women? You can go ahead and not call yourself a feminist, expecting everyone to be a feminist is actually anti feminist. But don’t label it as a movement that hates men if you’re so uneducated

@@Mr_Fortress777 In the western world, women are more than 10 times more likely to suffer from medical malpractice, often leading to death, than males (Harvard, Pub Med)
Common medications and pharmaceutical drugs negatively affect women and often do not have the intended effects, as they are only tested on men (it is stupidly believed that women’s hormonal cycles could affect the results, so nearly all drug trials are carried out on only males). (University of California, University of Chicago)
Female passengers are more likely to die in car crashes due to the fact the safety features in cars are built for the male anatomy - and yet, male drivers cause far more lethal accidents per year (National Institute of Health)
Women in history who changed the world are literally silenced - I bet you’ve never heard of Rosalind Franklin, or Jeanne Villepreux-Power, Lyudmila Pavlichenko, Andree de Jongh, Aung San Suu Kyi, Freddie and Truus Oversteegen, Beulah Henry, Émilie du Châtelet, Stephanie Kwolek, Mary Sherman Morgan, or plenty of others whose inventions and contributions to society got us to where we are today. And actually, the word “scientist” was coined for a woman, Mary Somerville, because they didn’t want to call her a “woman of science”. As previously, when a person who was skilled in a number of scientific areas (chemistry, physics, biology, etc), they’d call them a “man of science”. So, quite literally, we are silenced and our achievements are diminished.
There are so many more things, and yet this is only in the western world. It’s even worse in other places.
In my home country, Afghanistan, women are literally DENIED education, and can be put to death for trying to learn. Often when raped they are murdered, as they are then seen as impure. They are given no autonomy. I have cousins who still live there who are needlessly suffering under the archaic patriarchy. You may think, oh, that’s Afghanistan, the rest of the world is not like that surely - well, a lot of other places still are. And even in your beloved western countries, it only changed in the past few decades, and was like that for millennia.
My apologies for the long response that you probably won’t read. But stop letting those “red pill manosphere alpha male” podcasts lie to you. As far as letting me cry, I see this as wanting to feminize men rather than actually look at men's issues. After all, the best way to help men to not want to cry would be to reform the family law courts, see domestic violence as effecting men as well as women, have a standard for reproductive rights that doesn't give the woman 100% of decision making power, etc. I've also heard Emma say that she likes holding doors open for guys, instead of this being a one way deal. Does this do anything to help men with real life problems? Or, does it only serve to reduce masculinity to a level where males in society will do anything for female attention and approval?

@@z444hraaa It doesn't ... my comment sought to point out the double standard of feminism....that being, they wish to act as men have for centuries (holding doors open for women a small example) and label it stunning and brave and yet simultaneously vilify men for doing the same thing. The hypocrisy of feminism is off the charts today, which is why so few women identify as feminists today, young women in particular. Women are leaving the cult of feminism in droves......why is this? Have women had a sudden desire for inequality?
Of course not, you silly goose, you. It is because feminism has devolved into little more than an anti-male ideology. You see, with no true rights left to fight for for Western women, feminists must now CREATE their oppression. All anti-male.
Let's see, there's mansplaining, manspreading, manterrupting, the universally mocked and debunked "gender pay gap", femicide, the patriarchy, the male gaze, the sudden scourge of cat-calling, toxic masculinity, the MeToo driven "Believe All Women" dogma, rape culture, on and on it goes - all anti-male.
