I’m getting the 3.x update on my ’21 ID4 AWD pro S, next Monday. Hopefully I’ll see some benefits like the updated charging curve, but I can’t wait to have the usage/efficiency in my instrument cluster. It’s the little things… 😸

Usage/efficiency in the instrument cluster is not part of 3.0 update. Charge curve is. However don't expect crazy things, Old cars have lower max. speeds after updates compared to new cars and the difference is maybe 1-2 mins in 10->80% scenario between 2.3->3.0. Also, 3.0 has disabled battery preheating, so a lot of people living in cold reagons get slower speeds after the update..

Charging at max 465 A shortly after start and down to 160 A at 80%.

1:44 please show a larger charging screen, we do not need to see your blue fleece shirt in the background.

So your happy VW beats Skoda/Cupra it sounds like even though the battery system is made by the same company, to me it sounds like VW as the parent are knobbling their sister companies to try and get people to buy VW instead which seems abit questionable behaviour.

I am happy that it is the same charging curve. Differences are temp related.
