Cupra Born e-Boost - Charging across Europe

- Although we like the Cupra Born, we felt it lacked a little something when we tested it earlier this year. Of course, sometimes it takes a little bit longer for a car to weave its magic on us, so we have been running the new, more power e-Boost model as a long-term test car to see if it has that missing ingredient we were looking for. And its first task was big one. How would it be on a European road trip? Would it "WOW" us over a longer distance? It also gave us the opportunity to try out the charging network whilst driving through four different countries. Is it a chore, or a delight to take an EV on that type of drive. In this episode, Rod grabbed the keys, packed his old kit bag and headed to Germany to find out.

Not very informative about the journey !!!
What was the consumption, the charging speeds, cost compared to diesel/petrol car, how was the navigation (and controls), comfort (any backache when you got to Dusseldorf) ...
Sorry, C- review.
There is a second review of the car coming where we discuss the average consumption, charging speeds and general thoughts on our time with the car.
Total charge cost for the trip came in at £52.60 FastNed is on a par price wise with Ionity
That Fastned charger you were using is made by Alpitronic, and they are considered the best chargers on the market at the moment. A few other providers are using them too, like EnBW in Germany, if you ever happen to go there again. 😉
Thanks for sharing the tip for using EnBW in Germany
Antwerp is always really busy. I've sat in traffic on the ring road at 2 AM
Tesla comm issues are a lot on the V3.
Take a V2 stall next try. ( Got the 2 cables)
Sorry but this review rambled on to no conclusion at all …. Not up to the normal EVAUTO standards IMHO
Take this as constructive criticism, but I find it super hard listening to any review or presentation that’s full of “em’s” and “um’s”.
Not to mention there was no conclusion of the car at the end 🤷🏻♂️
