TW because honestly, he’s destined to be injury prone. You don’t place value on someone who is a huge question mark. The pace of the NBA is insane compared to what Fall is used to.

I’m a Celtics fan but I’ve always been a fan of Kemba. The man can straight up BALL and never complains, just genuinely a great guy. The disrespect is so unreal! He will have a much bigger and more positive impact on the Celtics than Irving ever did in the past 2 years. Kanter is aight tho.

Kyrie's ability = In the four straight losses, Irving made just 25 of his 83 shots, including 5-of-27 from behind the arc. He had just 21 assists with 14 turnovers and was an abysmal -57.
Yep, most important thing for Kyrie was getting out of the season healthy, and into free agency. He's by far the best player the C's had, Stevens should have reached out to him, not baby Gordon Hayward.
Stephens has issues handling superstars.... the way EVERY coach has issues handling superstars. When the petulant, diva, superstar pitches a fit and says "trade me now!" there's nothing anyone in any organization can do. The San Antonio Spurs, the gold standard for well-run franchises in the NBA, had their superstar (Kawhi) demand a trade -- and what did they do? They traded him. AD in New Orleans? They traded him. Kyrie in Cleveland? They traded him. When you get a superstar on your team, all you can do is hope they buy in, cuz if they don't, it's a problem.

Yes I agree that Horford to Kanter is a downgrade no question. Let's talk about the upgrades. Gordon Hayward will be far better this year than last year. He will be in much better shape physically than he was last year. I believe the Celtics were 22-5 when Hayward shot above 50%. Kyrie was a cancer to the team, as talented as he is Brown and Tatum never got into the flow of the game because Kyrie was so ball dominant. Kemba is a huge upgrade for the Celtics in terms of chemistry. Kemba, Brown, Tatum, Hayward can give you 20+ points on a given night. The comment about Brooklyn being better than the Celtics was ridiculous because they don't have Durant, they will be a 7th or 8 seed. When Brooklyn gets Durant back next year what kind of shape will he be in, will he struggle the same way Hayward did. Milwaukee, 76ers and Boston are the 3 best teams in the East. If the Celtics could trade the Mephis draft pick for a solid big man they will be in great shape.

Kevin Kimber was ball dominant because he had nobody in Charlotte he had to be I can assure you the ball will be spread out far better with camber at point guard then with Kyrie I can also assure you that Kimber will shoot better than 19 for 61 like the way Kyrie shot in the playoffs

How about Kanter with Tacko and Williams coming off the bench. That’s a LOT size and paint blockage, something the Celtics really lacked with Horford. C’s also have some other young guns on the bench. Lots of unknowns to be making any conclusions at this point.

If this was the Plan A, it is only half the plan. Danny's plan A was to get rid of Irving, get Kemba and Kanter and have Al beside them. His early trading of Baynes was a an absolute mistake as he did it before Al left.
I’m not a Celtics fan but I feel like the expectations for the Celtics is too high by fans and the media. Like it’s NBA finals expectations for this team but there’s still a lot of question marks. Idc how good Kembas personality is. He’s never been out of the first round, Tatum and Brown are still going to be fighting for minutes and touches with Gordon Hayward. Also Kemba and Kanter make them worse defensively.
