I purchased the same exact tank from J&P Cycles when it arrived the shipping company totally battered the box to my surprise no damage but after inspecting it and seen the horrible welding that was done so bad looked like they gave a child a mig welder and said have at it! I showed the tank to my painter he said it would never pass a pressure test that it needed more metal and body work so I did what any normal person would do I sent it back to J&P for a full refund, even people at J&P said they wouldn’t put it on their bikes lol. Luckily I found a guy out in Cali selling 4.5 gal Paughco EFI tanks and did a custom airbrush paint job on it for just a click over $900 it’s on the bike now and looks awesome couldn’t be happier! Good luck on that 3.2 gal tank my friend! 👍🏻

@Swamp Ratt, Thanks for sharing your experience with this gas tank. Yeah, shipping was really horrible and there were some imperfections on the tank. Been using it for a while now and I have not experienced any issues with it. I was looking at an acceptable price point when I bought this tank. My budget was my main concern when I did this job. I don't want to spend more than $400 and if I screwed up I can put the old tank back. Good to hear that you got a professionally painted tank of your liking at an affordable price. Ride Safe!
