Me and my buddy went creek riding the other day. We thought both of our hondas were water tight but apparently they weren't. I have a old 99 honda 300 4x4 and he has a 2021 Rancher 4x4. Mine somehow got water in the carb and a tiny bit in the airbox, but after draining both it was fine. He decided he was going to go through after mine got back running and locked his up. Buttload of water in the jug. We pulled the plug and got it back running. Weird thing is, he has been snorkel deep many times and it has never done this.
Did you say that your xmr had lower gearing from the factory vs a regular can am? I know the clutches are the same and terrible on all of those. I just can’t remember if you said the gearing in low range and high range was lower?
I’ve got a question for you. Trying to figure out what tires I should run on my 200 big red 3 wheeler for the creek. Bottom is all sand. Tried kenda bear claws but all they did is get me stuck every 5 feet. What tires would you recommend?

I took my maverick in a whole where i was neck deep, 6" lift 4" portals 18" wheels on 37" silverbacks, an got almost to the end an the wheels quit turnin, got it winched out pulled my seat out an had a freakin hole in my belt box snorkel rubber!!! Got that fixed gonna go back an hit tht hole again!!

I mean mine only has died twice being 6 ft deep when I let off from wide open throttle too quickly not really any need to fix anything there LOL. Do not need to run the water
@@MudPuppyOffroad I only ask because this one died underwater, I've seen ur talon x die on video twice, and u went through a bit of testing with ur 520 trying to figure out the same thing. Seems like a trend. There's gotta be a reason hondas do this more than the others.

Does it idle under water though? I know my 2020 420 is a hit or miss when you try to let it idle underwater

The biggest you can go without major case mods is a 35% and it won't be low enough for those tires
