    • @gravesru
      @gravesru  Před 4 lety

      Austin Glodich Thanks for watching. You already have the upper doors installed and it’s leaking on you? If so, sounds like the upper portion of the door isn’t adjusted right. You shouldn’t be getting water in the cab. The piece attached to the upper roll bar should extend past the top part of the door when it’s closed.

    Very nice video buddy. I’ve been kicking it around undecided on which side x side to buy. I’m stuck between the can am maverick x3 and the Honda Talon. I’m looking more towards the 2021 Talon two door with the live valve. How reliable has your Talon been mechanically? Any issues yet? My type of riding will not be anything too aggressive, mostly mild riding. I do like having the power and if I go with the Talon, the turbo is a must. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Love all the accessories you put on. The winch and A arms are also a must along with spare tire and rack.

    • @gravesru
      @gravesru  Před 4 lety +1

      Franky G There are two problems with the Talon. I’ll be doing a 1 year review on mine soon. The turning radius is bad, and the front drive shaft u joint retaining clips fall off. Honda will fix that soon, aftermarket u joint is $14. I personally won’t buy something with a belt. I’m extremely disappointed with the turbo kit, it doesn’t work right. I’ll do a video on that soon too.

    Thanks for the overview. I am frankly shocked that you have not mounted an aftermarket skid plate, as the Honda factory skid plate is virtually worthless. I'd recommend either FactoryUTV or TrailArmor, both of which offer a full 1/2" UHMW plate (sliders and A-Arm guards are available too). You've got one heck of an investment in a beautiful machine. I'd hate to see you knock a hole in your case due to a lack of adequate protection.

    I'll buy things a little at a time.... and as far as Hondaline Accessories???!!! Dang, they're really proud of their stuff, and I'll think really hard about how I spend my money and what I'll get in return. I'll instinctively look to aftermarket first as a result, and where possible, I'll buy American made first. That being said, I'll buy genuine Honda parts only when servicing my rig. There's too many counterfeit parts out there that look like the real deal, and you can get into trouble buying knock-off crap. Be careful in that respect.

    oh man what a money pit, I'm a Honda fan but I think Honda and is not giving the customers what they want. At this point a similar price/equipped RZR gets my money.

      $40k doesn't state it, lol. To be fair, I get it. You built and accessorized your rig to handle just nearly any scenario. I'm guilty of doing the same. When I was younger, my dad would aggravate the hell out of me over the mods I'd do to hotrod my truck. His argument was that my mods weren't "practical" and my response was always "so what, its fun."

      Red Beard Aftermarket exhaust voids your turbo warranty and dyno results prove a decrease in power with every single aftermarket exhaust because they weren’t designed for the turbo.

      The question and reply is from a year ago...but hoping u could explain ur comment regarding the trip u did from Mexico to Canada and the Talon being street legal? I interpreted that to mean u are able to drive ur talon legally on the streets of Mexico and parts of the western United States (probably not California) And into Canada? Can u just go a little deeper to ur response if u can. Coming from someone that has never owned a side by side and is interested in the 4 seater Talon. Thx
