I’m sure she is smiling from up there 🤍 because that’s how she wanted to be remembered. As a person who gave it her all. The best wife, the best daughter, the best sisters, the best at everything🤍🤍🤍 and she accomplished it all although Yolanda thought she silenced her forever she will forever live in our hearts. Yes, Rest In Peace Selena. Until this day we listen to her beautiful voice. But my favorite- watching her personality through interviews on those beautiful priceless videos I found on CZcams. Anyhow, it’s hard not to imagine her alive🤍 she is a roll model

A.B. should always have a ton to say, the dude wrote and put together most of that great music! Very talented man there But it was that voice and stage performance of the beautiful Selena, which is still second to none today, that made the songs immortal. Miss her!

I get it of course it’s a long time ago, Suzette has a better memory, but like you said, he was the artistic force behind the composition of those great Selena songs we all love- along with Ricky vela and Pete astudillo’s song writing.

I met Mr. Quintanilla in 2011, and the pain he's lived with since Selena's murder is obvious, even if the subject isn't brought up. I can't imagine having gone through what he and his family did.

I'm an Italian - American from New York State who's been a HUGE Selena fan for 23 years, and I wish I could have gone to ANY of her concerts. She had a combination of talent, charisma and class that was, and will forever remain, without equal, and was incredibly versatile stylistically - in my opinion, one of the hallmarks of a true musical artist. She was also a true lady, sweet - natured and humble, and didn't go around with that "Do you know who I am"? kind of attitude, despite the level of fame she'd risen to, and the incredible things she'd achieved. She knew that arrogance has no place in the makeup of a true artist, and that the work of a true artist speaks for itself. It's that combination of the incredibly talented and charismatic artist Selena was, and the sweet and humble person she was, in general, that's the reason I've been a huge fan for 23 years, have so much respect and admiration for her, and will love her always. I can't imagine my life without her incomparable music in it, or a world untouched by the positivity and inspiration she brought to it. There will never be another like Selena.

At the 94 and 95 Astrodome concerts they broke the attendance records, Selena was just awesome in both, her maturity as a performer really came out, thank you Quintanilla family for keeping her legacy alive.

I'm not judging, just making an observation, but I've always found it interesting how AB has been married (and had women on the side) so many times...and Suzie has been married to the same guy for almost 30 years. It's always seemed like he tries so hard to live that hard lifestyle of a musician/producer, and she's more focused on career and maintaining her family's legacy. Just goes to show that people can be raised in the same environment, with the same values and priorities engrained into them, yet still turn out as polar opposites.
I believe they weren't raised the same in terms of the control their father had over his daughters, it happens a lot in latino family, the male has more freedom. If Selena was alive, she would still be married to Chris.

Italian American, she died when I was a child, but remember seeing this movie on tv as a child and feeling saddened by her story and hearing “Dreaming of You” play on the radio while my mom was driving, and feeling tears going down my eyes while looking out the window. As a grown adult now, almost 30, I still feel strongly hearing Selena’s music. What makes me the saddest is knowing she won’t be able to make more music, I absolutely love her voice.
Me too, when I was little, that was heavily played at our school dances, that song always made me cry. I think it was because I didn't know she was murdered until after I saw the movie.

Also a 97 baby here. I turned 24 in April. Selena was an Aries like me. It’s an odd feeling reaching the age just that Selena was about to reach. I mean, I was literally the exact age that she died at just a few months ago. It’s surreal. Just goes to show how short & unpredictable life is.
It’s amazing how much she accomplished in her short lifetime.
I have a tremendous amount of respect for these two. So much talent, and yet so down to earth.

I met Suzette at the Selena Museum back in 2011, and she couldn't have been nicer - makes you feel like you've known her forever. Didn't get the chance to meet AB, though - he just HAD to perform in South America the SAME WEEK, lol! 😁 Mabey one of these days, AB!

This was SO cool I would love little interview videos like this some more! So interesting. And all 3 of the performances @ the Astrodome were great BUT u can DEFINITELY Tell a difference between the 1st one and the last one! By the last concert there its like the confidence had gone up by a thousand percent and the energy too! And it was even MORE then the last 2! Which is crazy because Selenas songs & the band and just everything were Always amazing. The energy in the last concert was just So So great❤❤ my gosh she would be going today still and just be everything today. I loved EVERYTHING selena and her music when I was a little girl. So the Netflix series is just interesting. It brought up a lot of emotion and memories and just a lot.

I was a baby when she died but as i grew older i saw how much influence she had on my sisters they wore shirts of her and did their makeup like her i also began to hear her music she is such a big influence on me ..its really sad how she passed i feel as if i knew her and its sad that her life was cut short.
