Can't believe it's been 25 years since she's been gone; I remember like it was yesterday. She is my idol, always will be. I'm so happy that the world got to know her beautiful spirit and her music and the she's gone mainstream, although it's sad that she is not here to see it. You’re welcome Diana! I have been a huge Selena fan since I saw her in concert in Lubbock, Texas in 1994. Sadly, Selena died the day after my 22nd birthday. 😭 (This is Kaleb’s Mom).

Other than her amazing voice, selena was such a humble and kind hearted person and that’s a huge reason why ppl love her so much. It saddens me beyond belief that she isn’t here I wish I could just hug her
It makes me sad too that she isn’t here to enjoy all of her success. I have had the honor to get to know Selena through people who knew her. She truly was an amazing person! I feel lucky to have seen her in concert in 1994. I became a big fan ever since! 💜

Selena’s legacy is stronger now than ever! I’m very lucky to have quite a few friends who knew Selena and Chris. I’m Facebook friends with her bodyguard, David Kramer.
Selena became famous because of the way she was killed.
She was already very well known throughout the US and South America. But yes her tragic death made her more well known.
Her dad gives me bad vibes
She must have gave my friend bad vibes too because she never liked him, and she told me that, even I started to feel like he was just using Selena the more I saw videos or pictures of him, I went to the museum with my real dad, who I don’t live with, and he wanted me to take a picture with him, I didn’t want to, but, I did anyway, and he said, “Make it quick, I got stuff to do”.
The movie made him loveable so it’s hard so picture him as anything but. However, he was a bit like Joe Jackson.

No, it’s 50 songs that he owns that are in the never before released concert footage. Unfortunately, all the songs have been released. After Selena died, her family remastered and recreated different versions of her songs.
Sadly, all of her recorded music was released on her last and final studio album in 1995, Dreaming of You. 📀
On Selena’s radio channel, Abraham Quintanilla has released some recordings of rehearsals that had never been released before. The 1987 LIVE concert was just released this month on DVD 📀!

@@jake24685 some interview and TV performance video footage has been discovered over the years. But sadly, Selena didn’t even get to record all the songs for her final album, Dreaming of You. 😢 She only recorded 4 songs for that album. Her family helped Capitol EMI Latin to finish the album with some of her previously recorded Spanish/English songs.

The narrator really said Selena had brown skin 😑 Selena was very light skin she was not brown at all. If anything she had some color because of the Texas sun but you could clearly see in her abdomen and rest of her body that she wasn’t dark. Nothing wrong with being dark but they automatically call her brown just because she’s Mexican.

Yes I feel very sad for Chris! I have friends who are friends with him. It’s sad how Abraham treated Chris. And Suzette too! They cut him out of Selena’s life! They are still making money off of Selena! She was worth 5 million when she died and now she’s worth 12 million!!
