I love how even Wanda is a bit taken aback by Tony's hallucination, like she wasn't prepared for something so cosmic in scale to be what lingers in his thoughts.
TheUnholyHandGrenade
Cause. Effect. So Wanda started the chain reaction of events that brought the universe to its knees. Fascinating.
She watches a man's fears be totally centered on protecting the whole world... and still hates him...
Erik Fantasia to be fair, Ultron also thought he was saving the world

You can see all The Avengers' eyes closed which might indicate that they're just out cold, except for Nat who has her eyes open which means she's really dead.
We really should've seen this coming..
Boody Jacoub thats some creepy foreshadowing shit
Boody Jacoub, even though the avengers eyes are close, doesn’t always mean that they’re out cold. Sometimes people can die with their eyes closed.
@@doomsday3659 I know, but it's called "foreshadowing" so it's all possibilities in the end, they won't straight away tell you that all the avengers gonna live except for Nat, they're just planting the seeds and letting the viewer's imagination do the work, that's how great Marvel is.
@Marissa Lopes Um, Yeah, thanks for the tip, Sherlock .. But that's basically the vision, that's what would've happened if he hadn't sacrificed himself.

"You could have saved us"
This is the moment that defines the Infinity Saga. Tony believes this to mean he has to build something to save the world, which backfires tremendously, causing him to doubt himself and the whole idea of the Avengers, choosing Peter, someone his complete opposite - just as smart, but far less egotistic - as his protege ("I wanted you to be better") and ultimately leading to Endgame where he realizes that what it really meant wasn't to build something or choose someone, but to do it with his own two hands. And then Endgame's credits end with the sound of his hammer clanging from when he built his first suit. It was always his world to save. Genius setup, genius execution, genius payoff.

The most horrifying thing about all this is that he probably never told the team about what Wanda showed him, because he was probably afraid they would blame him less if he did, and, to him, he doesn't deserve that.
That was one of his faults, yeah.
He always took the blame for *everything* and didn't *t a l k* with others about his problems, worries and fears, unless he absolutely needed it or wasn't any other option to run away/distract himself.
There are people like him in real life too, we all do this to some extent in some episodes of our lives, that's why it hurts so much watching him torture himself for things that are out of his control/weren't his fault. He's also a loner at first, which didn't help.
In general, the fact that he didn't ever tell/admit his worries to anyone could be because...:
1) he didn't want anyone to get worry or feel responsible or guilty like he did,
2) he feared what others might have thought about him -let's not forget he had a big ego and put on an arrogant facade to hide his vulnerable side... so yeah, he wasn't exactly as strong as he meant to deal with judgement (so, he cares),
3) oor, he just wanted to be the one dealing with what for him were HIS problems (which is like a mix of the other two, he wouldn't like others realizing he can't deal with his shit and he didn't want to worry others with his shit, ya know...).
Summary: being Tony Stark sucks and watching a tragic character like him hurts >:'(
But at least he tells Fury what he saw in his vision..
@@sakura5sango6 well you can blame the Marvel writers scripting a personality of Tony Stark like that, maybe you can be proud that Tony Stark is dead to the radiation of the stones..
@@GamingGaming-pe2pj I can blame the writers? Proud he is dead?
Uuuuuum, wha-?? xD
The writers actually made him more logical, because I've read that in the comics he pursued the heroes that didn't want to sign just because...
I'm trying to say that he deserved better and that he didn't talk about his problems because he always blamed himself for eveything... even when it wasn't his fault or he had good intentions.
But I guess you mean I can be proud about the fact that he sacrificed his life for the greater good and to save everyone. Then yes, I am proud, even if I feel it's kinda unfair to him :')
@@sakura5sango6 well yeah, actually some people really hate Tony Stark and his personality, since they didn't not understand that sometimes there are some people being like that, a messed up philosophy, well said..

I don’t know why Age of Ultron got the amount of hate that it did/does.. It’s one of my favorite Avengers movies, if not my *favorite* . The thing here is, if you know Tony’s character well enough and how RDJ plays him, you’d know that throughout all the death in front of him, Tony going to Steve and Steve’s dying words to him and then his death, affected Tony more than you’d initially think. You can see it in Tony’s mannerisms and the look on his face. Because of what Steve stands for and him being the leader of the group, obviously.
Ultimately, it shows Tony’s underlying goodness to be “more” than what he shows himself to be. Hulk lying in pain like that, is also foreshadowing what happens to him after Thanos decimates him in the opening to Infinity War.
2:19 Wanda / Lizzie’s smile, though.. OML!😍

@@RX7821979 yea
It has a much darker meaning after watching Ant-Man
His biggest fear wasn’t the end of the world. It wasn’t the end of his own life.
It was losing his friends. His FAMILY. He loves them so much. He didn’t hesitate to do the snap, knowing he would die but they would be safe.
*Hulk pinned by swords/sticks* - suffering from constant healing and pain, first time he was ever defeated was by Thanos (without power stone mind you), from that Hulk was traumatised and Banner had tough time re-enabling Hulk, he finally merged himself and Hulk together though.
Black Widow’s eyes open - she’s definitely dead, nobody seemed to had their eyes open except her (yes, Steve did too) indicating that she is dead. Exactly the same in Endgame. She’s the only one who seems dead.
Hawkeye sitting, presumably mourning somebody. May be Black Widow, since he did grief over her death, yet here he seems to grief over somebody else, unknown who. Also, a little theory here - he may be sitting like this as a “losing” position, in a sense that the avengers lost completely, he sits here accepting the fate, just like Thanos did when losing. Seems like avengers always win with Hawkeye among them, but this time, it wasn’t his fault, nor was it before.
For Thor, I can’t say anything except him being unconscious/knocked out cold. He might’ve pointed to Cap’s head, as if to say “go for the head” but sounds like a stretch.
Cap’s broken in half shield - same as in endgame, Thanos destroyed his shield in half and almost killed Cap multiple times.
“You could’ve saved us” - Tony didn’t snap his fingers, the fate of the universe was on his fingers and he fumbled it.
“Why didn’t you do more?” - this may be the callback to Avengers 2012 when Tony was ready to die by delivering a nuke back to Thanos’s army yet nobody acknowledged it, indicating Tony seeking attention for what he is doing and not thinking onwards, which also may be the reason why he didn’t snap his fingers, he could’ve hesitated, he could’ve refused or he tried to throw the gauntlet away but Thanos catched it. Who knows.
Also, notice how after that, Cap had his eyes open, indicating that now he is dead. Might be because Thanos did almost killed him brutally in the battle for the gauntlet.
Also, notice how hulk seems to be on top of everyone. To me, it says that he suffers the most. He snapped his fingers to bring back half of the universe and he lost to Thanos. Tony might’ve been more on top but he didn’t snap his fingers so we never see him be on top.
Somebody in the comments pointed out that it’s the real future until Doctor Strange foreseen it. In Thor’s vision, there’s no Time stone on the gauntlet, did Strange tamper with it?

If Tony didn't make the sacrifice like he did in Endgame, this vision would of came true. Cap told Tony in Avengers 1, "you're not the one to make sacrifices." And in this scene of Cap saying "You could of saved us" shows the whole meaning of what Cap said in Avengers 1 that Tony had to sacrifice "something" (his own life) for everyone's survival in Endgame. Truly powerful to come back and understand all of this after Endgame.

In Endgame, this is what Stark thinks of when Strange points
Yeah, maybe when strange held up the one finger, he was gesturing towards the one vision you saw maybe
@@weirdcarpetthing97 when strange puts his finger up, he was indicating the 1 out of 14million outcomes and that what tony was thinking of was the 1 they win. They both had their mind on the same thing.

RDJ's look of acting petrified is on point.
I noticed how tony checks captain America to see if he was still alive shows he really cares about him and see him as a friend❤️❤️❤️❤️😢
This scene is one of the best scenes in the entire MCU, even after Infinity Wars and Endgame this scene still holds up
Everyone coming back here after watching doctor Strange mom
Are we not gonna address the fact that from 1:48-1:56 the ambiance of the of aliens and how the cinematography is scary?
That's always been the most terrifying scene for me, both when I first saw it and the many times after. It took a huge battle and a last resort nuke to defeat, and even then it was a close call. That was against a single mothership, and here we see dozens of them, and what appears to be a combination of two infinity stones used to keep that portal open.
the crescendo and the upside down earth makes it seem like a nightmare i had
The clue was always been in this scene.....
In a different universe, the avengers failed and Thanos won
Captain:" you could have saved us"
After Endgame
Yes He did
'You won mr stark you did it sir you won' - peter parker
Ok
Lol I believe this is going to happen.........like the Japanese girl in THE WOLVERINE predicted Logan’s death
With his heart in it hand.
Sari Sura Howell Laura.
Ben Glaser yesyes
Dammit, no she didn't!!! She predicted he'd die on that fucking table, where he did, he just came back, you fucktard! How many times do you think she saw mutants with healing factors die?!
Bjorn Haugen she was right in the end. It was probably planned, but he died holding Laura, his daughter
Age pf Ultron literally opened a lot of future possibilities for MCU
Are we not gonna talk about the fact that in 1:14 thor looks like he’s gonna snap his fingers
Was that intentional 👀👀??? DUN DUN DUNNNN
Omg you just made me think
in endgame when the were going to get everyone back thor wanted to do it and bring them back so what if its not a world where tony didnt snap his fingers but where thor did
@@sadiebrown9478 I think Thor would’ve survived because of the power of cheez whiz
It’s honestly nice to look at foreshadowing in these movies with the context of Endgame
2:09 Wanda: Let him cook
Honestly, people forget that Wanda was easily as guilty as Tony in creating the age of Ultron. Like Thor says, he played with something he didn't understand and inadvertently filled a 'newborn' AI with every horrific piece of information or knowledge available in human history and told it people were worth saving, to which it went insane.
But even then, we can't ignore how Wanda 'knew it would consume him' when she showed him unnatural visions that never came to pass, to deepen his fear and paranoia to force him into the state of mind to, without him realising it, do something self-destructive, like making Ultron. So, even if we can put those examples at his feet because he was a catalyst for chaos without pursuing it himself(creating the Jericho bombs, creating Ultron), at least with the age of Ultron, Wanda was easily just as culpable and her hands were just as dirty when she happily instilled Tony with the fear and panic that she knew would drive him to it. He didn't know Ultron was going to become a murder-bot, but Wanda did this knowing he was going to do damage, to himself or others around him, as a result of this nightmare.
She also helped ultron get vibranium and Sent the hulk to a town full of innocent people That could die and still some people just want to blame tony for everything
@@user-vr3qy4pk9u Yeah absolutely right. I think people were so quickly emotionally invested in Wanda becoming a much more prominent character in WandaVision that they looked to whitewash her of her ambiguity.
@@user-nv2wt4hi8t they still defend her even after she enslaved a town of innocent people and children and killed dozens of people and Hunted down a kid just so she can be with her imaginary children Not to mention she has to kill their real mom to be with them
@@user-vr3qy4pk9u just like how tony Stan's defending tony for all shits he did in AOU and civil war
@@SA_586watch the clip again. Before Wanda even touches him, Tony is looking at what we later know to be Ultron's main body, the eyes are glowing and there are multiple other bodies in mid production. That entity existed and was active before Tony and Wanda even walk into the room. She then messes with his mind, he takes the sceptor and Pietro asks if she's going to let him take it. She smiles evilly.
It's not even about the vision, it's because they know that thing is already there. When Bruce and Tony say later that it looks like it's thinking , it's because it is. It's listening and plotting. It then co-opts the name Ultron and purpose to mess with Tony and afterwards it goes right back to that base to collect the bodies that it has designed before.
That fucking smile she gives when he’s about to grab the scepter. That’s when I fell in love with that character.
Me too
Why does Barton look like he's still alive but just sleeping
Mourning...
Whatever killed him wasn't immediate. He slipped down into a sitting position and died that way.
It's his resting death pose XD
Almost looks he's mourning...
Maybe bad acting I suppose
1:25 " you could've saved us" what if this line is a reference to one of the 14 million possibilities that they actually lose duo to tony stark failed to snap or he was scared to die cause of the snap

its not
What if tony did not know how to snap

Anybody knew that this one 99% became true??!
Hulk almost disabled, Black Widow dead eyes open, Thor and Cap were taken down by Thanos and Cap's Shield is broken; Tony was ready until the final moment...
This is really dark. The NY battle still hadn't left his mind. The studio cleverly showed that by not showing it in Iron man 3 but then showing it here, as if it had always existed in his mind.
Wow they really thought this thought this through, like caps broken shield from endgame and Natasha looking the most... Dead than the others?
the fact that nobody is blaming wanda for ultron
Why would it be her fault?
Im guessing he is implying that she caused tony to see this vision

One of the best scenes in the MCU
Whose here after watching the new Dr.Strange movie
For the folks who are wondering who all the dead humans are among the Avengers, since this is Tony's worst fear and not a premonition, it's safe to say that they are S.H.I.E.L.D troops, looking at their gear, probably Heavy Armored troops.
At the end of Age of Ultron when Tony, Steve and Thor are walking around The Avengers HQ, you can see dozens of S.H.I.E.L.D members in training around the compound....
czcams.com/video/k_3O5q4cEV4/video.html
I just hope to see these S.H.I.E.L.D troopers in action in a future MCU movie, Avengers 3 or maybe Avengers 4???
Some people have mentioned that these dead troops are members of The Nova Corps, I don't think so, for one, they don't look like Nova Corps members and two, as far as I know, Tony has never seen a Nova Corps member before, so why would he see them in a vision?
This totally predicted endgame
Nice video bro
This is what kang saw while talking to antman
why was scarlet witch surprised by the vision? (no pun intended)
Eduardo José Sacasa Arguello she thought that he’ll destroy the world himself, so she won’t need to drive him crazy, he’ll do it on his own.
also, it might be that she, being prejudiced, would see death and destruction and was surprised to see Tony care for anyone, but himself.
or it could be their immediate future, where she sees that Avengers are toast and all his friends are dead.
WeaponLight very true
The vision that she makes people see Is their fear.. Because her parents were actually indirectly killed by him she thought of his as very selfish and bad.
But when she saw that his fear is about all the avengers being dead and earth getting attacked(and No one is there to save earth) It shows that he cares he genuinely cares and wants to protect but couldn't in the vision and that's his fear.
Wanda was surprised by seeing that he cares..
Lol
Black Widow's death is gonna happen in Avengers 4. Also, the roles will be switched, Cap will watch Stark die.
I don't think there will be an avengers 4
Brandon Rey Yes there will, it is official, there have been the shootings and stuff
Brandon Rey Avengers 4 will be out in May 2019, it’s been confirmed.
I'm from the future. Avengers 4 is called Avengers Endgame, and it's damn lit.
Okay Dr. Strange
this scene changed everyones perspective about tony.
its wanda’s fault that he make tony create ultrons for the army against chitauri, but good news is she makes him show the truth in the future
Nah it's 100% Tony and Bruce's fault
Dr strange concept of dreams
You really need to appreciate the time and work put in for these movies. Caps sheild is broken the in final act of endgame, really surprised that this was planned way back!!!!!!! ------MIND BLOWN------
Most of this stuff happens in later movies.
Hulk looks like he was beaten up and is depressed, in Infinity War, Thanos beats Hulk and Hulk is too scared to fight Thanos.
Black Widow is lying dead on the ground, just like in Endgame
Hawkeye looks depressed and sad, in Endgame, his family dusted and he was sad and depressed.
Thor dead, doesn't really happen in Infinity War or Endgame except maybe for a few seconds in Infinity War where he is a at the grip of death right before Stormbreaker heals him.
Captain America's shield is broken, just like in Endgame.
2:21, I can never get over how beautiful her smile is
That's Elizabeth Olsen for you.
