Congratulations Ryan. Wow that's large. Hopefully you get great use out of it for many years to come my friend. Can't wait to see more updates an projects and many more videos soon my friend. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Forge On. Fab On. Weld On. Keep forge lit. Keep making. God bless.
you loook like it just took you a week to drive home lol , that beast is insanely huge ...getting it home is one thing then comes for me the interesting part of trying to get it where I need it...I just turned down a really good price on a lathe because I have no way ever of getting it into my shop....not sure I could even have gotten it off my driveway, so the forklift you have there just makes me green lol

That's an impressive fly press, I hope to get a smaller one for my shop someday. I enjoyed seeing Cy, his shop, and his dog's trick 🙂
Thanks yea a smaller one will be much more usable for most things.
Nice job on the restore, great you are helping Cy.
Thanks I appreciate it
nice video, keep em coming!
Thanks Nathan I appreciate it. And thanks for sharing it that helps a lot
I love those old machines. The irony of you not having a knife is very relatable! 😊
Nothing makes you feel less of a man than not having your knife around cy swan
Direct to museum...
👍
I liked this video just for the fact that Cy had is dog shut the door
It’s proof that you can teach an old dog new tricks

Awesome man!! Love the video!! Im excited to see that Bradley power hammer!! Is all the wood still good on it?
No the wood beam needed replacing. But it’s been re made and is almost ready. I can’t wait
@@stagecoachfarmforge that’s awesome man! I’m excited to see it!
Early on in the video I was hoping the 30 ton would be up for sale. Where do you keep finding these amazing Fly Presses?
I found both of these on eBay. Just gotta keep looking they pop up from time to time
Do you just buy pieces and restore them to sell or what?
Also what part of the country do you live in. It looks like the mountains in NC.
No this tool just wasn’t what I was hoping for. Oakland Oregon here
Whats the diameter of the screw?
@@Freizeitflugsphaere the screw is 4”
@@stagecoachfarmforge thank you😊 is there a way to calculate the force?
I bought a similar press with a 2,5 " screw🤔
