This video came to me like a whirlwind of an idea. Outer Wilds is talked about constantly, already, so it only makes sense that I add another to that humongous pile of videos I've ignored. But it was still lingering in my head in a way that made me really want to talk about it.

After watching the first bit of this video, you are making me want to actually play through the game. I know... should have played like a year ago when we were all playing!
You should! It was a lot to take in when everyone was kinda shouting over each other and trying to unravel stuff at the same time. I think the best situation is probably 2 or 3 people max.
But honestly, just taking the time for yourself to go at it is probably the best way. You can pace yourself, play at your leisure and connect the pieces. It's really enjoyable that way, too.
My friend I would highly encourage it. It isn't always easy but this is a game that is gleefully waiting to reveal its secrets to you.
I hope you enjoy it and just get sucked in with as little spoilers as possible. The puzzles aren't too difficult. I had to look up 1 or 2 hints, they were both answers I already had, nothing super out there.
Not sure why I clicked on this video but very glad I did! First 5 minutes have convinced me to finally finish this game. Something very comfortable about this video brother, keep it up!

Beautiful video. I was working on a cross-stitch while watching and had to stop because I started crying on it when you were talking about needing to let the game go.
It’s hard to articulate to my friends why this game has consumed me and why I can’t get it out of my head. I appreciate videos like these made by people smarter than me that I can point people to 😂
If I could offer two tiny nitpicks; It’s pronounced Timber Har-th. Poke, Pye, and Clary (interloper) are all female.

Thank you for your kind words, they mean a lot to me! There's a multitude of layers that I didn't even scratch on with the individual stories of the Nomai. And damn, I think I caught my misgendering while editing, I completely forgot to note it for myself to fix and forgot that I even made that error. And I'll definitely keep that pronunciation in mind, whoops, thanks!
Don't sell yourself short, I had this game floating in my head and I wanted to explain what it was about it for so long that this video eventually forced its way out, lol.

Outer Wilds is the best game of all time, there are no experience like it
I don't think there is a comparable experience that I have seen. It's really incredible.
It's one of those games I wish I could experience for the first time again.
Also I recommend playing without the Dlc until you finish the main game. Its not a big deal, but you could run into it and really throw you off track. I highly recommend Echos of the Eye though
Echoes of the Eye is really good, but yeah, definitely recommend playing through it with that DLC disabled/unpurchased first. It's its own thing well-tied into the story, but it kind of sends you on its own course separate from the rest of the locations.
