I'm also autistic, and I love hearing that you're looking inwards on your own energy and focusing attention on keeping yourself out of a burnout and keeping yourself comfortable. I'm glad this diagnosis is helping you to concentrate more on yourself, I know it did the same for me. Women tend to get diagnosed so much later, so there's so much more work for us to do with unmasking and finally existing as our true selfs. I hope the journey towards finding the real, uncensored and unmasked you is as smooth as it can be.

I'm in my 60s and have been called weird, an oddball and an acquired taste. I've never been diagnosed but don't fit in. It's a hard road to travel but we have our gifts. It's lonely and we're misunderstood but that's ok. Thank you for sharing this information as it helps all of those who are different to realise we are not alone. 😉💚

My older son is autistic too. Pretty sure my husband and his sister are (and her husband too) and we know all 3 of their kids are. It’s common to get a diagnosis as an adult now as it’s just something we’re only now beginning to understand more as a society (and even then it’s still stigmatized and very misunderstood). I know I’ve learned SO much connecting with other parents of ASD kids and hope you find a community to connect to as you navigate your own diagnosis. Sending love and hugs!

I said to myself that this is someone finally so real; not pretentious. It has been a journey to find holistic aids to help me relax & sleep. I have battled trauma after trauma for mostly all my adult life. Needless to say- anxiety plus depression are problems.... You are an Earth Angel my Darling. I haven’t stopped, I will do some Reiki healing as well soon, but Reiki is just pretty limiting for me, in this way I can do more, it’s like an evolution of my healing style 😊

I’m not autistic but definitely have other diagnoses! Take care of yourself and learn now that you have a pinpoint of what the source of some of your traits might be!
