I guess his complexities are the reason why Ben is such a compelling character. Plus the actor is both brilliant at playing him and gorgeous too. It's easy to see why Callum fell for him. Very dramatic episode but too much about the "Mitchells" for me. Not liking Martin's behaviour or the way Louise is turning into a dark and twisted combined version of her parents. She is scary. Let's have some cheerfulness in 2020.

No disrespect, but I loathe this "Mitchell" reverence, although they were the Royal family - they are just a bunch of chavvy career criminals and killers. It is as if in this episode they were trying for film noir on a budget. It's about time the programme freed itself of this bunch, and the old man ended up dead or behind bars.

Honestly, I'd tell Callum to walk away from Ben - actually run - and never look back. As Ben said, Callum is a good guy. Why would anyone want him involved with the Mitchells, Walford's murderous mafia family.
Ben has a good heart, that's why he broke up with Callum. You could see in his eyes he didn't mean it, and he's clearly hurting. Being a Mitchell though means putting on a "tough man" front. He's obviously protecting Callum but I'm pretty sure they'll be back together soon.
