Wow. Watching this a year later... they really gave poor Danny one hell of a messy send-of, didn’t they? I mean. All of them gave their a-game acting wise, but Keanu really just left the show as a confused, bitter and lost guy with this big shot gangster kidnapp-plan that just bit him in the arse.
A lot of people in the comments have to examine their morality when they think that the proper punishment for a cheat is death. The Mitchell’s could have ran Keanu out of town by making a veiled threat to hurt his family, that would have been a fitting punishment for Keanu but to try and kill him is about a thousand steps too far.
This part of the storyline is quite weak, there was nothing stopping Ben from following Keanu to find out where callum was being held or even threatening Keanu within an inch of his life to tell him where he is or threatening Keanu family. Most kidnappers do their transactions over the phone for these reasons.
