I was a recent alum in 1998 when they beat Washington State for the Natty with Charles Woodson. Watched it from a bar in NYC with some good friends. Cherish this. You will remember this for the rest of your life. Go Blue.
Man I am going to miss Harbaugh NGL almost teared up when I saw the notifications on my phone Wednesday evening that he was taking the Chargers job, which felt like a big gut punch. I remember the day he got hired back in 2015 that was the most exciting news I heard as a fan. Totally gonna miss seeing him on the sidelines and all the memories, especially the last 3 seasons.
I totally understand, he has been the only coach I have watched because when I started getting into Michigan football in high school, he was already the coach. Definitely going to be an interesting season next year, however, I wish him the best.

Hayden, It was really cool to see your video- what you said at the end about being able to be a student at UM and see them win 3 big ten championships and now a national championship is so true. I was at Michigan from 2014-2019 (got my Bachelor's and Master's) and grew up watching Michigan football games just as you did, and I am jealous of you and the 40,000 other students that got to experience the success that Michigan has had the past 3 years. My freshman year was Brady Hoke's last year, where Michigan went 5-7 and the fanbase/students ran AD Dave Brandon out of town. We never got to see anything like you have experienced- you are blessed! From all of us who were on campus in the darker times- enjoy every minute of this, and celebrate for us. You will never forget this day or the experience of what it was like to be on campus during their first national championship in 26 years. And your closing message about persistence and perseverance is as kind/uplifting as it is true. Sometimes the best things in the world take time, sometimes way longer than we want. But as is certainly the case with this national championship, it would not mean so much and we would not appreciate it if we did not have to suffer those defeats for years and years. Thank you for posting this and for letting us live vicariously through you. Looking forward to welcoming you as a UM Alumnus soon, and you will ALWAYS be proud of that Michigan degree. GO BLUE! Hi Haley, this is the first time I think i ever saw one of your videos, it just so happened to pop up in my search for the most up to date michigan stuff on youtube and I am so glad i watched this. You are so awesome, and fun and it was cool to see wha tit was like as a student there giong to an actaul famous restauraunt/bar in Ann Arbor. I am going to be 50 in a few months but while i didn't actaully get into Michigan, wen tto my 2nd choice of Western, but have been a michigan fan since as far back as i can ever remmeber. My aund and uncle on my my mom's side both graudated from UM and lived in AA since before I was born (so been down there many many times), my dad's sister and her hsband (were also both Michigan grads, and my older brother is as well, he was even in the marching band there. anyway. 1997 was the greatest season i ever watched until the last 3 years, especiially this year. and all the ridiculous things they had to go through , and overcoming it makes it truly special. btw. i was one of tho people who went against the grain 3 years ago and even the year before when many Michiggan fans and local detroit radio personalities were saying Jim need to go. even on fan pages on facebook, i kept telling people they are crazy and kept talking about how a coach who has turned around a D2 or 3 schol then san Deigo state then standord, then the NFL and the first few years returing us from the rich rod hoke era, doens't just forget how to coach. and told everyone the 2020 year you can't even count anyway. but as for me, i am in Livonia and went to a bar that always plays the games, made sure to call in a week of head of time to get a table. and while the atmosphere there was great, the atmosphere of being at the jug you showing was even better. thank you so much for shaing this :)

No your correct I'm 43 and enjoyed some great years but since you got to Michigan they have just been amazing! Definitely the best 3 year run ever! You have brought the Greatest of luck with you and how awesome is it that you get to meet all these new Michigan men and women that you attend school with and share in this time. This will go down in history as the greatest team to wear the uniform in 144 years! You hit the college lottery lol. The memory's of your at school experience you get to have from Michigan will be some of the best that any alumni has or will have who attended the school! I'm sure many are jealous. I know I am lol. Remember these words I'm about to tell you because they are extremely real and important!! Time goes by in a blink. I was just 20 it seems like yesterday. Hell my brain doesn't even feel much different other than more life experiences but it's like unbelievably so fast and than your 43 like holy shit how is this possible! Cherish the memories and every second with the people your with because many of them are just a blip in the story of your life. They will go there own ways and you will never see them again many of them so don't for a second take it for granted! I remember being 8 years old standing at the tunnel entrance on the field. Well in the stands but the players were running out of the tunnel and coach schembechler was standing Infront of me. That's a memory I'll always cherish of my time as a Michigan fan in general. The greatest university on earth and they belong at the top of college football. Michigan IS college football!! Go Blue

Glad we won it all. Man that Bama game last week though I had multiple heart attacks, especially when we were down 20-13 it was so scary. Man that muffed punt that almost rolled in Endzone almost cost us would of been the most crushing way to have all the championship dreams washed away and thankfully that didn’t happen.

I just missed getting to celebrate the 1997 Natty (graduated in spring of '97). The closest I came was the Red Wings winning the Stanley Cup my senior year and hockey fans going nuts in Ann Arbor.
Dude your first 3 years have been the best 3 years certainly in my lifetime… 97 was amazing..But, to get 3 consecutive years beating Ohio State, winning the Big Ten championship game 3 years in a row,,and then a Rose Bowl win and National Championship game win,, yeah you’d have to go back to 1901-1904 before Michigan has that good of a 3 year period..or 1970-1974 when they went 50-4-1 but only had a Rose Bowl loss and no national championship.. I’m calling it official ..since you started school it’s the best 3 year period since the Wright brothers first flight lol

Hi, I did have an opportunity to buy student tickets to the game. I saw too that Taco Bell gave an allotted amount of tickets for free, however, I have no idea who those went to ,considering the people I knew in the student section had to pay. Even though I would have liked to go to the game, I thought I couldn't go wrong with watching it in-person or in Ann Arbor with all my friends:)
