Fantastic video, definitely subbing! I do have a few questions about approval odds based on things like income. Can you get approved with a relatively low income? I just finished my freshman year and started working in early June at about $15 an hour, so I estimate just under 20k for my gross annual income working full time in the summers. I do get a $500 monthly stipend from a 529 account for living expenses and have my rent paid monthly from the same 529, but I've read some places that I wouldn't be able to include those on my application since I'm under 21. Would ~20k gross income and a 770 experian Fico 8 (768 equifax 748 transunion) likely qualify me for the card? I'm completely fine with a low credit limit because of the bilt protect system, and since I've only used a $500 CL secured card up until now. Sorry for the whole book. I'm just curious to see how other college students got approved since I can't really find any examples in forum posts! I appreciate any feedback greatly and, again, AMAZING video!

I graduated high school in my top class and applied to multiple schools. A lot of them were schools that I truly wanted to go to, and some were good, but we're like my last option. Long story short, I got rejected by 11 colleges and got into only two ( UNC and BU). I’m supposed to move on and get excited for what's to come, but I’m still upset at how things went. However, your video has given me a sense of hope, and I hope that one day, I get to look back at this time and not have any regrets on how my applications went.

Nothing quite so humbling as rush week! Everyone gets dropped by houses they like, and every house will get dropped by a PNM that they really liked too. In the end you can only be in one house, and maybe it is good that some of the hard decisions are made for us along the way. I'm so glad you ended up where you felt you best belonged. I was a Sigma Kappa at my university. I felt a deep bond there almost from the very first visit, (and the fact that the house was absolutely the prettiest building on campus didn't hurt.)

Applied to MI as a transfer with a near perfect GPA. Haven’t heard back yet but I believe I’ll be accepted. I’m also older than most students. Glad I watched this. Have no interest in college sports whatsoever. I feel relieved to cross MI off my list. Prestigious school, no question, but not for me. I personally am not thrilled about the Midwest location. I myself am seeking a university in a large city. Bar scene? I don’t need a bar scene. Good luck to everyone in getting into where you want to go. Good review; thanks.

This is the happy pinky life of central campus folks mainly art, Business and Med school 😂 NOW, hi 👋 a day as an Aerospace engineering major at the University of Michigan, I wake up everyday mad at Michigan and the schizophrenic shit weather , I rush to brush my teeth and get a Tim’s coffee, at this point my blood is already 85% caffeine since I haven’t slept the night before, then I have to head to North Campus, I live in Ypsilanti ( only business and fashion majors can afford living in Ann Arbor “the charm of privilege” ) which is 20 mins give or take, then I attend classes that kill every brain cell in my head, then after fighting with EECs I finish the day coked up on the biggest number of energy drinks just so I can power through my night part time work… COLLEGE IS HELLA FUN I am so excited for the next adventure 🙂‍↕️
