Great choices for beautiful games! I agree with the mentions made of Parks, Scythe, and Everdell. I also think Tokaido and Vindication are gorgeous in their own way. Perhaps I lean toward the macabre a bit because the artwork I find truly breathtaking is in Court of the Dead, Tainted Grail, and Arkham Horror. Some of the most outstanding art ever! Thanks for an amazing video!

Cool! I was aware of some of these games, but On Her Majesty's Service and Abyss were new to me and "stunning." ;) Those really grabbed my attention. Thanks for sharing. I think the game in my collection that most captivates people visually is Scythe.
Scythe is definitely an eye catching game! very pretty art.

In my collection, the ones I have "on display" are Parks and Azul, pretty mainstream, and my last adquisition, Codex Naturalis. Stuning.
thanks RP! Canopy was shipped without shrink wrap by the way. The designer tried to make it as eco-freindly as he could with his current manufacture which is super cool. 😊

This was an incredible list of games. I know it didn't make the list, but I'm really interested in Ecologies. That artwork really blew me away! I also agree with you on UV plastic on game boxes 😫 I hate plastic so much, and it has to go! I was surprised not to see Everdell on the list😄
I am working on some house rules to "fix" some of the issues we found with the game. Its so beautiful, I can't not want to play it lol

Hey Jona, great list! We FINALLY got our copy of Sleeping Gods and are about to dive in.
A word of warning on Sleeping Gods. The second printing did away with all but one of those “cargo crate” boxes and replaced the rest with that cheap black plastic insert we all love so much. So it’s lost a lot of that beauty and appeal between print runs ☹️

awww man!😔 thanks for mentioning this. I knew they were going to switch to the plastic insert but I was not sure when it would be reprinted. Really is a shame. But the game is still great!
The artwork is still gorgeous, and the one cargo crate box with the magnetic clasps is a terrific idea! Shame they switched to the plastic tray as it does take something away from the beauty. In fact, removing that tray made it look much nicer thanks to the beautiful artwork on the inside of the box.
Can’t wait to fully dive into it, we’ve been waiting years to give it a go!
Hello there random SI question, you told many times in you video you have trouble with ""Keeper of forbidden wilds" that someone claims you play it not as it should be played. I have that spirit now done 3 runs. Would it be okay for me to ask what the argument is how it should be played and you play it? I woulds like to improve my knowledge tis play stylist and already wrote a ""how to use guide" that may need some "upgrade" I found 2 ways to play it. 1 Go for power and start with boon. or ignoring option 4 the power grown and play Boon with Sacroscant. Making as many ""wilds as possible. " I belíve na information exchange on experience and "wants" would improvise both of our play styles. well if you are into it. Here of if you like it in g-mail
If I recall correctly, I was placing my presents in an illegal way. I can't remember exactly but I was making it easier for myself to place my presents further than it was meant to as I was puzzled by the icons on the growth track. It was a long time ago. But I was defiantly braking the rules 🤦♀️ lol
@@onepipwonder915 looll I thought you played it the wrong way was not the most efeletti strategy :D well the one thing one needs to remember this spirit is to always place on wilderness unless the 4th ability :D.
(good thing my home made tokens are easy to notice :D green black and white black) I made them in 2 colors so thy stand out a lot.it also makes more fun to place them :D also gives the feel ""what color of token i should place here that looks the best :D"(I played too much sims)
