The Power of the First Language: Why Mother Tongue Matters in Early Education
The cornerstone of early education is building a strong foundation. One crucial element of this foundation is ensuring children learn in their mother tongue. But why is primary education in the mother tongue so important?
    The Power of Language:
Your mother tongue is more than just words and grammar; it's the key to understanding the world around you. It shapes your thoughts, feelings, and cultural identity. Using the mother tongue in primary education unlocks several advantages:
Marathi Bhasha Din: Celebrating the Mother Tongue
Marathi Bhasha Din, celebrated on 27th February, is a day to commemorate the rich heritage and cultural significance of the Marathi language. This blog delves into the history, importance, and nuances of this vibrant language, exploring its various forms and contributions to literature.
    A Brief History:
Marathi, a member of the Indo-Aryan language family, has a rich history dating back over 1000 years. It originated from the Prakrit language and evolved through various stages, influenced by Sanskrit, Persian, and Arabic. The 19th century marked a golden age for Marathi literature, with stalwarts like Jyotiba Phule, Mahatma Phule, and Savitribai Phule contributing immensely to its growth.
    Praman Bhasha ani Boli Bhasha:
Marathi has two main forms: Praman bhasha (standard language) and boli bhasha (dialects). Praman bhasha is the formal version used in education, literature, and official settings. Boli bhasha, on the other hand, refers to the regional dialects spoken in different parts of Maharashtra. These dialects, like Puneri, Kolhapuri, Khandeshi, Vharadi, and Malavani, add a unique flavor to the language and reflect the cultural diversity of the state.
    Contribution to Literature:
Marathi has a rich literary tradition spanning centuries. From the saint poets of the Bhakti movement to the modern era, countless writers have enriched the language with their creative expressions. Marathi literature encompasses poetry, prose, drama, and fiction, and has produced luminaries like Dnyaneshwar, Tukaram, G.D. Madgulkar, and P.L. Deshpande.

    परत एकदा, खूप चांगला विषय निवडला.. सरांचे काही views पटले.. तरीही जरी 100 मैलावर भाषा बदलत असली तरीही, शैक्षणिक क्षेत्रात एकच भाषा असणे जरुरी आहे.. बोलीभाषेत जर शिक्षण करायला लागलो तर, पुढील शैक्षणिक आयुष्यात प्रगतीचे मार्ग खुंटले जातील.. म्हणून तर हा सगळा अट्टाहास आहे..🙏🙏keep it up team!!
