- Up close, in person look at all 3 official builds for the nearly 1,000-piece LEGO Creator Townhouse Pet Shop & Café, which should really have commas in its name! This is a 3-in-1 set where all of the versions are designed with care and a fine level of finish.
Oh, and Trash Vampires. 'Nuff said.

JANGBRiCKS 3:12 that's tan! :)
Epic vid man love it
@Wyatt Holbert yes they are
JANGBRiCKS didnt you used to make rc videos?
@@dannylamaquina2077 yes he did.
I believe that the two things on the back of the juice cart are sort of like draughts/ taps / dispensers.
Probably
Syrup dispensers
I agree
Agreed
correct.
Just watched your interview on Beyond the Brick. It's always fascinating to hear about all the hard work and tough choices that go into making content on CZcams. It's so easy to take a lot of videos for granted but it takes a lot of dedication and a true vision to be able to create and maintain a thriving channel. The conversation about how you're not just catering to subscribers but also a faceless and nebulous algorithm and how difficult that makes your job was really illuminating. I try to watch all of your videos, even if it's a set I have no interest in because there's always something that I can take away from the way you break down the design, unique pieces/colors, and builds. Keep up the great work!
Wally Hays that is so true I watched Jangs interview last week with Beyond the brick and agree
I like that this set includes Stan Lee minifigure
Ethernen Uhhh... Who’s gonna tell him?
You have great imagination
The biggest build has a brick built brian from family guy
Iam going to buy this set, just because of him 😍
I didnt know creator was part of the marvel cinematic universe
Lego creator is such an underrated theme
The Brick Patch :D ikr
So underrated it wasn't even given a page in the new Lego catalog that I got in the mail this week

I think those two things on the bottom of the juice cart are spigots, and the two things above them are actually tanks of juice in the shape of fruits.
My thoughts as well
After seeing how much Jang focuses on detail and takes care of his city, I'm fairly certain he should run for president!
I would definitely vote him in!! lol
Yay
Thanks so much Jang for building all three and reviewing them. I'm so grateful.
Because of the position of those black bars on the juice cart I think those are Taps. The trans yellow studs on top represent a clear portion containing lemonade and then there’s a plate and then there are opaque cylinders to represent the tops of the containers, so the operator of the cart would put a cup beneath the black bar and turn a knob or something to get juice for a customer.
If I were building a city right now (there's absolutely no space for such a project in my dorm room,) I would almost certainly be buying this as a parts pack.
Great 3-in-1 set. I particularly LOVE the trolley. Such a great little vehicle, especially considering it's not even in the main build. The only real negative to me would be that such a large set only comes with 3 minifigures, it could easily use 2 or more to populate it.
Also, kinda crazy how a standard Creator set in 2019 now has way more detail than early Creator Expert modular buildings from not that many years ago.
I thought you were talking about a shopping trolley
All three builds are quite nice!
And it's very Creator-like, in the best way possible. I have so many 3-in-1 Creator City sets I keep hoping Lego makes sets I'm not interested in so I won't want to buy it.
Darn you, Lego, for making a good set!
Yay, I've been waiting for this. I always wait for your videos. you're the best lego reviewer ever.
Same here
me too
Excellent quality review! I agree that all 3 builds are very substantial!
10:20
I thought they were some kind juice dispensers. Like the yellow parts are small tanks of juice and the black pieces are taps.
I'm not sure though.
Same labdG
I thought that's bubble tea stand
@@Lordodragonss They would need way more equipment for a bubble tea stand
This is what city builders need more of LEGO, sets that are all structures and no vehicles shoehorned in as filler. this is a fantastic set for all ages. The details in this creator set by creator standards is elite. I might have to put this on my Christmas wish list now
Mannn... I love the inspirition I get from al the 3D signage!!
The comb, scissors, toothbrush, coffeecup & hot dog are soo simple but awesome at the same time! Specialy interesting that we've had most of these occupations represented in the modulars aleady! Let's see if they are easy to add to those façades!
Keep up the good work Jang, love for your work!
10:43 I think that the two juices inside the window are actually bigger containers or kegs, and those two things on the bottom shelf are the spouts where the juice is then poured into cups from. But that's my guess.
Watching your videos helps ease the stress of med school, great videos and I appreciate all the hard work you do.
Thanks for the thorough review Jang! I liked it very much. 😊❤️ Hope you keep doing these for the bigger Creator 3-in-1 sets.
The design of the buildings and the interiors reminds me of the nineties for some reason, very modern and colorful. I love the amount of detail the designers managed to put into both the exterior (the facades ❤️) and interior (the little mouse hole in the pet shop 😄), it’s almost like an mini-version of a modular set. I think the tree separate builds would also look very nice connected to each other.
Also: cute tag at the end of the video 😄
So it's like a throwback to the Pet Shop and Parisian Restaurant buildings from the Modular line? I dig it!
Build with the trolley is the most actually functional, and has more than one cool sign build. Plus-- trolley.
Guess Brian had a hangover and decided to swing by the main build for some coffee!
Thank you for this review, and thank you for explicitly and proudly stating this to be a fantastic parts pack. I could not agree more.
Other than that, I have always called this Corner Deli on steroids and it really shows, in the fact that it's 24x24 over the Deli's 18x18 footprint; the open corner that isn't going to please everyone; its overall similar aesthetic as well as several small references to not only the Deli's main build but also its alternate builds; the additional colors and details; and twice as many pieces, all in a grand return to the 2014-2017 Creator 3-in-1 building series. I can't wait to see what LEGO puts out next in their return to this series. Hopefully something smaller and more affordable.
I'd not heard of Trash Vampires before, thanks for the little sample at the end!
Good video, some good points! Thanks Jang!
Just bought and finished this set as your review came out (I'm a close follower of your channel). I loved it!!! I think you could also discuss the modularity especially of the largest build. Each floor could be swapped sideways in addition to up/down. The results are surprisingly fun! This is a significant value in my opinion. Besides this, I agree with your mentions of downsides. Overall the ups far outweigh the downs. Thought your tone sounded a little negative overall (perhaps you are disappointed at the imperfections?) Fully agree with you a great set to own:)
That's so cool
Your voice is so peaceful
nice, larry the cable guy is in lego now
They've made Lego Tow Mater before though
This thing is worth those $80 but LEGO could have gone full Emmet house and made a back wall.
yes they really need a back wall for these creator sets, the set just feels incomplete without a back wall
Or you can buy two!
@@Lordodragonss ya but then the cost doubles, and you need to make some modifications to the build anyways if combining two sets. Just adding in a handful more bricks to the set to create a back wall would be much easier, and the set price would only increase by a small amount.
@@Lordodragonss At the price of buying two i rather get a modular building
Whelp, I'm sold, I like the look of the Bank option, so I'm actually gonna crack open my Third box I got of this and get to building it up.
Its been in the box for like 2 months now.
I also agree it should probably have been designed with the Baseplates in mind but what can we do.
Love your Reviews ! Keep it up
I like the horizontal set. It is so great and smart. The vertical one is OK. The Big one is great too.
I was really excited for this set when I first saw it, but I’m glad I held off for your review. I wish there were more animals or they focused on a few things for the main build instead of so many. Great review!
Those 2 thingy on the Juice Cart is probably where the juice is stored with a tap or dispenser
Finally, I’m so happy this came out. I was so excited for the review to come out for this once I watched the build video. Thx jangbricks I love your videos so much.
Happy you built all three for the review. Looking forward to building it myself.
I think I like the detective's office barber shop a lot, it really does throwback
I love watching these videos for fun my favorite videos are your Hero Factory mocs
Sixteen plus eight studs makes it about the same size as the City Hospital!
For me this is almost a return to the Bike Shop and Café they've done a few years ago. Which is great, because a few of the Creator sets they've done recently are a bit wishy-washy to me. The perceived value is great here, and it's definitely on my wish list!
Creator once again proves it's BEST THEME
I agree with you about the value in this set. The amount and types of parts is fantastic. I am building a Lego City and feel like this will be a good addition to my downtown area. I thing I will buy two sets and incorporate them to make a standard 32x32 baseplate unit. Thanks for the review, it was.....as usual......very helpful.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that building looked very 70s inspired
Your commentary about where the mini figs are getting their coffee mugs and food was hysterical!
I'm realizing that every location in this set _(minus the transit stop)_ is done arguably better in one of the modular buildings
I love this set I love your review as always. Built it today with my niece. We had a blast. It wasn't the best set for building together as it has only one book. But still I figured if we took turns each page it worked pretty well.
The tram is so adorable.
I think you missed the 1x1 black stud for the nose of the dog on the pet shop sign!
That dentist doesn't provide much privacy lol
I think those little things on the juice cart are little dispensers. Those trans studs are supposed to be jugs and those little handles are the nozzles.
I love you jangbricks
I believe under the juice cart, those two black things with yellow top would be to freshly squeeze or juice fruit when is cut in half such as the older style kitchen tools to do so.
Also, the old guy figure looks like Stan Lee.
See? We were right to ask you to build all 3 ☺ Thanks for doing it!
This is the set I look forward to buy, also the helicopter.
great review jang.
Love the color scheme of all these pieces. I hope they go on sale 50% off sometime in the next year at my local Tesco. If so I'd buy at least 3 of them.
Buy three of this, build all three Builds and have a little City or enough parts to build a little modular Building, i think.
I was looking forward to this from the day it was announced. It's a sharp nice little set that will fit nicely into the outskirts of modular builds for me.
Oh. My. Goodness. The old guy's face is Stan Lee. I would very much like this piece!
JANG, can you do a Hidden Side set next?
He's done two Hidden Side reviews already.
I think the things on the lemonade stand are lemonade containers with taps
I like it
The juice cart looks just like the roller coaster frozen drink cart! You could franchise them!💵
I really adore this set, but all I wanna see is 3 of these sets, built in all three designs, all linked together? That seems like it would make a really cohesive cool structure
You are the best jang! You inspired me to star building legos again:)
Thanks for this very thorough review. It looks like a really nice set, which is still on my wishlist. 👍
I just buyed this yesterday
10:30 those are like a tap or dispenser and the trans yellow studs are where the actual juice/lemonade is
Definitely going on the Christmas List!!
Great review Jang!!! 😎👍
I’m definitely going to get this set!
Imagine getting and combining three of these to have a full town
That was a really useful review but I'm still on the fence about this set. With a floppy A/C unit I may have to give it a miss. Thanks, as always!
Great video as always
I like the Modern style on the taller building.
Here's my take on it. It's a studio lot. It's just the background of a movie shoot so there doesn't need to be a kitchen or actual food. The hotdog stand could even be the only "real" thing about it. Just there to feed the movie crew.
12:20 that dog reminds me of Brian from Family Guy
Grub 123 exactly What i thought
These are like new mini modulars :D
Jang's right this would make a great set for a set draft for LUG or convention or something.
Too bad there are no accesses to the second floors in all of the builds. Otherwise it is a great set with interesting shaping of buildings. Thanks, Jang. Subscribed.
What do you do with your sets once you’ve reviewed them?
12:15 Wow that's the Parisian Restaurant Menu!
Nice bild the last is the best
I have this set and nicely placed it in my city. Just have a few detailed gripes. I think this set could have used 2 or 3 more figs(like an employee for the Cafe and another for the Pet Shop). Also, regarding the Pet Shop it would have been better if the dog, bird and mouse, were animal molds and not pieces put together. It's not such a big deal since those extras I mentioned can be found on BrickLink, Lego Store and eBay.
Hey Thanks for showing all of those. Those are cool!
i think creator is my favorite theme lego produces these days
Hey jang been a fan sice you started doing star wars reveiws keep up the good work
Great review as always and a very clever set
Basically,it’s a City shop building set.Waited for the usual discount to appear and then pounced.Lot of really useful stuff.
It is a shame that this is open, it has a nice look to it. As always,, great job, Jang, thank you for the review.
Hello, Jang/Lego community! I like the juice cart, too! I'm going to copy it with pieces from my stash. :3
Also, I think those pieces jutting from the bottom are dispensers. You'll note that connected above them
are 'light' pieces that correspond with the 'juice' pieces on the plate above. Just imagine the 'bottles' continuing
through the plate.
17:25 I just realised that the cheeze wedge on the jumper is a mouse trap... LOL!
Nice set but does have some oddities in the main build that you said but personally I’m not so fussed that it isn’t base plate sized
Why couldn’t they just put an actual dog figure in the set
Popyoshi06 !! It is so that they can use the pieces for different things in the other builds. I think. Not sure though.
James Allmon oh thanks still though it does make a question to the lego universe like are the blocky versions fake dogs or another breed of dogs look I just don’t really like it but thanks for answering just realised I’m probably thinking about it too much still
At first I thought that was a camera😂
Because they want to do it like the classics
I love these buildings, but I wish they could close up and have a complete look like they used to do a few years ago. Placing something like this in a city would look really awkward because of how open it is.
Thank you for doing all three builds. Great review.
I would buy this to make a cat cafe from some of the builds
Buidable animals 🙈 , go for Emmet's house , Shrimp Shack Attack or Avengers Sanctorum instead cause their cool & worth more overtime 😁
I'm Soo happy I'm getting this for my birthday
Food conspiracy Jang is best Jang.
Great review! Whats the band at the end?!
ill watch this 3 times
thank you jang
Second build reminds me "Money for nothing" of Dire Straits, especially because of the dog and tv :))
Probably those two small things on the lemonade stand are supposed to be some kind of dispensers or something like that.
