I tell her frequently I see her for her, including the color of her skin and I love that about her. I love her for every little aspect of her being, and one of those is her race.

My favorite couple was definitely the girl with the maroon shirt and the guy with the tattoos, they just seemed so relaxed and cute. But I might be a little bit biased because I am a black female and no matter what, it seems like black females are always portrayed as unattractive to other races. Honestly? What the fuck is wrong with people in trying to make black women feel bad about not wearing their natural hair. Gtfo with that bs. Just because some days I don't feel like stressing with the wide curls and hardness of my own hair does not mean I fucking hate myself! We do not wear weave to look more like white women, we wear weave because it is EASIER. Tbh if you're hot, you're hot. If you're funny, you're funny. Why limit your choices when there's billions of humans on this earth? Although when it comes to preference, someone once told me it has a lot to do with the culture you grew up with. Whether you grew up in a white area, black area, who you hung around with etc. I don't think that's the case for all interracial relationships, but perhaps for some.
simply.s Because long term couples that last will tell you that while opposites may attract, usually that's just down to being "hot" and those relationships don't last. The ones that last is not where they are different religions, have different cultures, like different music, and really have nothing in common. A white country music loving hick girl will never form a lasting relationship with a black urban rap loving black dude, that's two different worlds, their friends won't get along at BBQs, and its doomed to failure. Race is more than skin deep, as it represents your whole lineage affecting how you were brought up. Even in adopted black children that grew up with white parents, because of natural group identity theory will more often than not end up "acting black" and trying to associate themselves with black pop culture.
So while there may be exceptions to the rule, just as there are for anything, most of the time its a bad idea... and that's why the old saying goes, "once you go black, you're a single mom".

Lasting relationships won't even be bothered by the colour of their partner's skin and the greatest thing is amalgamating cultures. simply.s The world is beautiful because of its variety. Its like a rainbow or one of those giant 150 crayon boxes that wowed you as a kid. Its great to travel the world and experience different cultures, but when you mix them all you lose that. Instead of all that wonderful variety of crayons, you melt them together and just get a giant brown glop.
I want a Germany for Germans, a Britain for British, a Mexico for Mexicans, and a Africa for Africans, where each can develop their own unique cultures and interact with each other in this global economy, but at the end of the day everyone goes home to their own to preserve their uniqueness.
