  • Stopping at the top of Sir Lowry’s Pass to start this trip was fantastic. A short drive later and we were in the town of Grabouw. Visiting this area which is well known in South Africa as being apple country was a good decision. We drove through the town looking for interesting places. The old Jailhouse and the Harris Bros building dating back to 1906 were awesome. We had a delicious breakfast and then departed Grabouw. While we were parked next to a dam just outside of town, two friendly gentleman came to fly their racing pigeons. What a show that was! So interesting and so much fun, we've never seen that before. #DustBugs #adventuretravel #southafrica #southafricavlog #grabouw #applecountry

Donnie... best driving instructor ever. I am from CEO (Grabouw) but have been living in SEA (South East Asia_Thailand currently) for the last 7 years. Was at home in June/July last year (vrek koud...lol). Seeing this just makes me a little bit homesick. Thanks for the video :-)

We're definitely not sponsored, we just love the Kwid so much because it can literally go almost anywhere and is still incredibly fuel-efficient, which is important in the times we live in. We rent a different one every time. 🚗 We appreciate you travelling with us!

Great to see all those pigeons! It's amazing how fast they can fly! Isn't Grabouw where Adrian Kuiper, former SA cricket player, has a farm?

Greetings from Parramatta Australia. I stumbled across your footage of the township of Grebouw after having bought Grebouw boerewors recently. I decided to do a little research and was delighted to find Grebouw is a lovely little farming town much like my favourite small town of Mudgee to the north west of Sydney. Beautiful!

Welcome, we're so happy to hear you enjoyed exploring Grabouw with us! 🚗😁 You're correct, it's a lovely town and located in a major apple-producing region of South Africa, about an hour away from Cape Town. 🍎🍏 And the sausage isn't half bad either! I hope you enjoyed it too! 😝🤤 Thank you for watching!
