- We had a good rest and left Le Grec Apartments in Franschhoek quite early. We were told by a local about the Franschhoek Motor Museum and that it would be worth a visit. So we decided to do it. Visits to the museum are by appointment only and we were fortunate to get in at short notice. I love cars and specifically these fantastic older and classic cars. I have visited the museum on two occasions. Really worth the visit. They also rotate the exhibited vehicles every few months as they have a lot in reserve, either being restored or repaired. They also have their own motor racing test track. Beautiful place.
That's interesting! I wasn't aware that they rotate the collections, but it makes sense. It is a beautiful place indeed. 🤩👌🏻

Its amazing everytime I was thinking "Wow" , you said "Wow" ....an incredible presentation inside and outside...cars and landscaping. Its important for places to face north to get the sun...

Okay those cars were amazing and so big. Thank goodness we have smaller ones now can you imagine the amount of petrol you would use. Never heard of some of them. Thank you.
It would cost thousands to fill up some of those cars at today's fuel prices! I also didn't know some of those names, have never even heard some of them before. I enjoyed the walkthrough a lot, it was great fun! 🏎️
