- My ACE Insta360 & Rode Wireless video and audio motorcycling set up. Check it out, see just how cool and versatile it is for recording and syncing video to 'separately' recorded audio. I think at some point I'll be looking towards the Insta360x3 with the crazy new features but as you can see (and hear) I'm still enjoying superb features with the x2. Brilliant stuff.

We use exactly the same to record our joint audio, it's brilliant.

I just got a DJI Osma Action 3 and looking for mic options (wired/wireless) so this is cool. That's a nice setup!

@@TheRiderGuider They sure are. I have several Rode mics. All of them are fantastic.
I'd probably not recommend upgrading to the X3 from the X2 as it isn't a big step up in quality. Maybe wait until the X4 comes out. I'm still running a helmet cam, so my RODE WirelessGo doesn't get used anymore, I really should sell it.
Yours is a neat setup for the way you record your content 🙂
Would it be worth mounting the RODE unit to your helmet to stop you needing a cable joining your helmet to the jersey? Could do it with just a bit of velcro 🙂

I'll take that X4 advice mate, cheers. Thinking about your idea re the velcro, I reckon that's going to be useful, yes. I could add a tether just in case I knock it off. I'll have that done soon I reckon ... BRILL 👍
@@TheRiderGuider It was why I stopped using an audio recorder as I got fed up of snapping mic cables getting my helmet on and off 😀
