  • In today's video, Joey takes the car wash to the next level by demonstrating a full detail from start to finish. Using a Clay Block will easily extract surface contaminants. This is a necessary step to prepare the vehicle for polishing. Swirls and scratches take away from the overall look of the vehicle, using the TORQ 10FX with an Orange Hex-Logic Pad with V34 and V36 will remove moderate paint imperfections while restoring gloss. Jewel the paintwork while enhancing depth
    and clarity using a White Hex-Logic Pad and V38 Final Polish. Lock in shine and repel harsh elements with a fine layer of Extreme Top Coat. Give your dad the best this Father's Day with Chemical Guys!

    The clay block is way more useful and easier to use then using the clay bar. I understand some people have their preference, but I would recommend the clay block.

      1)This new clay bar, is it better than the original clay bar?
      2) The spray you apply on the pad before you start; how often do you do that?
      3) can I clay bar my windows and add a protectant? If so what do you recommend?
      4) will the clay bar and polish remove water stains? If so will the polish and or ceramic help keep it away?
      5)after you polish the entire vehicle and you want to ceramic it do you use the rotary and pad?

    • @ChemicalGuys
      @ChemicalGuys  Před 3 lety

      If you're going to polish then we recommend doing that after you have washed and clay barred your vehicle. Depending on the condition of your paint, it may vary as to which compound/polish you'll need to correct it. If you don't plan on polishing or you're finished polishing, then you can apply a protectant like Butter Wet Wax to your vehicle.

      Hey! We recommend VSS Scratch & Swirl Remover, it is the easy-to-use polish that cuts strong to quickly remove swirls, scratches, and defects, then finishes like a fine polish to deliver a mirror finish in just one step.

      Hi Isai! One polishing pad can be used throughout most of the job and only needs to be cleaned once.

    Do you go from v34 straight to 38? Or do you have to do 34 to 36 to 38?

    • @ChemicalGuys
      @ChemicalGuys  Před 4 lety +1

      Hey Neil! You can go straight from V34 to V38 or you can refine it even more by doing a 3 step polish. Thanks for watching and thanks for being part of the Chemical Guys family!

      Cal Milford when you use more then one v line. So if you do v34 you can then do v36 and then v38 hence a 3 step polish
