    On an older vehicle with a lot of imperfections could you do a 4 step with each v line so starting with v32 then v34, v36, and finally v38 then finishing with a sealant?

      Hey Wyatt! Absolutely, in some cases it is necessary to use a multiple step paint correction to restore gloss however we still recommend to make a test spot using the least aggressive approach to determine what is best combination for your vehicle. Once desired level of shine has been achieved apply your favorite coatings to lock in your hard work and repel the elements.

      Hey Junior! It is best to start with the least aggressive approach such as V36 Cutting Polish with an Orange Hex-Logic Pad, from there you can determine if more abrasives are necessary.

    Joe thank you for your explanation of each product you use in this video. I have a question I just repainted the hood of my 2004 GMC Yukon but there are some imperfections that I would like to fix. what product do you recommend I should use to even out the clear coat and make it nice and smooth. Do you think V-32 is a good one

      Hi Pedro! Wet sanding is the most effective method of remove deep blemishes and orange peel before machine polishing to perfection.

    I have just recently started using your products. I can say it is quite effective. How do you compare the v line with the C4 and P4?

    If I want to polish my truck after I wash it should I use the speed wipe after washing it or just clay bar it than polish it ?

      Hey! Absolutely, using V36 and V38 will refine the clear coat but it leaves the surface bare. Add protection and enhance gloss by adding layers of your favorite ceramic, glaze, sealant, and/or wax.

    If you corrected paint using V36 but then realized it would be more beneficial to use V34 for rougher and more stubborn scratches do you have to go back to V36 and finish of with V38 sort off like the method of using sand paper where each one gradually eliminates scratches from the prior one? or can you go from the V34 to V38?

      Hey Brian! That is correct, for the best results the surface must be refined with V36 before using V38.

      Hello! Yes, this is a TORQ 15DA which is a dual action polisher which safer than using a rotary polisher.

    Would clay bar, then V34, then V36, and V38 final polish be too much an 2011 red silverado with dirty, swirled fire truck red paint? Paint isnt dull but not as vibrant as it should be

      It can be done by hand. I do both I use my Dual Action polisher for the big areas and by hand for smaller tighter areas

      Another question. In a normal situation (not need to de contaminate), could I use this polishers before the wax? Or, my butter wax is enough?

      @@nelavc21 hmm not sure what your asking. Butter wet wax is a form of protechent. It is a cleaner wax so it helps clean but it doesn't correct paint. It also covers up imperfections
      Polish corrects paint. Polish before you use wax. Wax after you polish. If you need to correct your paint use polish.

    Hello chemical guys! I’m watching this vid bc I want to polish my 2019 Ford mustang (oxford white) with very small visible scratches using a light. Do you guys recommend using v36 with an orange pad & then finish up with v38 & white pad or just use v38 with orange pad and then with white pad?

    i don't have access to water so I normally wash my car with ecosmart. if I use the clay block+luber can I jump right into the compoound? does clay block+luber removes iron contamination as well?

      Hi Anthony! Following the Chemical Guys Detailing Flowchart, it is best to apply ceramic after polishing the vehicle. I recommend using Wipe Out to ensure the surface is totally clean before applying ceramic.

      Hey! It isn't necessary to wash the vehicle after polishing, simply wipe the surface clean. Wipe Out will ensure there are no oils or residue on the surface before applying protectants.

      @@iamram1999 Clay mits and discs most of the time cause more marring and micro scratches to the paint. Its best to use them before paint correction. Traditional clay is best to use for DIY guys.
