Actually the East-West Railways no longer exists. Now it is a DB Schenker Rail Polska (DB Schenker Rail Poland) and it is a part of Deutsche Bahn Group.
The locomotive on the movie is most likely the BR232 - rare in Poland, but very common diesel loco in Germany. DB runs hundred of them till now (some of them were rebuild to more powerful versions).
