I think this design is wonderful: I would love to have a flip phone. However, its fragility, not the best screen quality, lack of headphone jack, lack of SD card option and the high price point still make it a "no" for me. Hopefully in the future when this idea gets developed better.

Yes you need it, when the phone starts te get older you might need to put some extra memory on it to save multimedia and those things, I don't know where you live but here in Argentina internet is not always good or you don't always have good signal if you're out of the city to just go to drive and photos. Apart that, you buy it and that's it, you don't pay a subscription for those extra gigs

can you share more about the screen durability and does it has scratches? :0
@@bernice1536 from my z flip experience the durability is great. I have no scratches on it and still no hinge problem at all. It opens and closes just like day 1. I mean honestly your using your Z flip while open and as soon as you're finished using it you close it. I read somewhere (can't remember where) that people where asking can they leave the Zflip phone open when they're not using it and having owned and still own (currently typing on it now) my Zflip as soon as I've finished I just instinctively close it. Never once have I left it open when not in use so with all that you should not get scratches or dents ect on the screen.
I love this phone. I had a Samsung S10+ before it and I don't like the idea of once my phone plan is up in 2 years going back to a normal slab phone lol. So will probably stick with this one or upgrade to a new Zflip 2 if one ever comes out. The flip convenience of it it not just a novelty at all it's an awesome thing to have actually.
How.long have u had ur zflip and have u had any ISSUES with it at all just wpuld like to know wpuls u recommend it I def want it just wanna make sure its durable enough
@@danielvargo4498 my Telstra plan says I've had it for 10 months now and I've still got zero issues with it.
The hinge and screen are still also fine like when I first brought it.
I recommend getting a case for it, I'd recommend getting a case for any phone you buy though but at the time there wasn't many options available so i brought a case for it from a website called Spigen and I've dropped my ZFlip a fair few times and the case has done it's job and protected it like it should. There's more options available now though.
All in all its just like a normal Samsung Android phone except it becomes compact when you close it which is exactly why I got it.
Unless you are going to use the phone with a hammer or a knife or bury it in sand when your not using it lol the durability of it is great. No hinge or screen problems.

To be clear Samsung made their version of the notch (hole-punch) smaller and less intrusive than before, I personally think that apple's notch is more intrusive (even more so than the old samsung hole-punch), but that's just my opinion, it is purely based on how you process videos and the imperfections in them.

I like how everyone has a problem with the outside screen lol mis amigos its for notifications not texting or opening the notification. Hence the word notification. I just think people who complain about having to open the phone to use the phone are lazy. Its not a con that you can't use the small notifications screen to open notifications
