  • The city of Kharkiv is a constant target of Russia's aerial assault on Ukraine. Sitting close to the Russian border, it has come under repeated attacks in almost two years of war. DW Correspondent Max Zander travelled to the city and met residents who have chosen to remain there - living a life under fire.
For more on this, we talk to Maria Avdeeva. She is a Ukrainian security analyst who is originally from Kharkiv and joins us now from Sweden’s capital Stockholm.

Besides one can target deliberately, missiles can miss their target, anti-air missile and missile fragments can drop on civilian houses, and electronic gaming systems can cause a drop of drones and missiles on civilian infrastructure. There is no proof of deliberately targeting civilian. But for hotel we know they deliberately targeted it as Russian themselves told it.

@@oliverwilliam6931 that is an age old excuse, like that hotel in Odesa that was empty, undergoing renovations. And the schools and play yards, and and and. Why would you believe after all the hotel hits that mercenaries would still be living the high life in hotels? And people's homes? We don't believe russia

Khakhov coty is showing great resilience absorbing many attacks.
We heard news that many French mercenaries were killed in a hotel by Russiam attack .

The UKRAINIANS and The RUSSIANS should invite Jesse Lee Peterson over to moderate a "PEACE AGREEMENT" that both sides can live with.
And just maybe, Jesse Lee can SAVE some SOULS, while MENDING HEARTS!

3:29 the S300 is an air defense missile. It can be used in ground to ground attacks but it is to valuable and inaccurate to be wasted in that way.
These s300 missiles he is point at are Ukrainian air defense missiles. Ideally DW would push back as “journalists”, but I guess the narrative is more important than the truth.
