      The planes are ready to ship.
      The whole delivery however is said to take some more month to be completed. However, it would nearly double the extreamly small Ukrainians airforce (had around 70 jets in the beginning of the war).

      @IbnBahtuta Před 28 dny

      Well, it is really very simple, I cannot understand why you don't know the cause of this christian against christian war. Let me explain in simple terms.
      Gorbachev and the west came to a deal, drop the soviet thingy and not only will there be peace and prosperity for all, the west and NATO promised to never encroach on the borders of Russia by turning those countries into NATO members. The west lied and no sooner was the soviet thingy gone offski, they invited new members into NATO, all bordering Russia.
      The wests lying and duplicity is what has caused this war. NATO knows full well that it hasn't a hope against Russia. Russia has standardised military systems, NATO was supposed to have this "standardisations" across all 32 countries but hasn't. Why not you may very well ask. The answer is money. The NATO countries agreed to a minimum military budget spend to facilitate the changes needed to equip and standardise their combined armies. The NATO countries took the "peace dividend" bequeathed by the fall of the soviet thingy and wasted it. They never met their NATO commitment of minimum military budget obligations, what a surprise, eh? Even America's unstable stable genius pointed that fact out to NATO when he tore them a new one.
      I don't want to write a book on the kafirs' wars, so I do hope this helps you to understand why you have been lied to by your governments.
      I would point out that I am not backing either side, they all have Muslim blood all over them, it is nothing more than yet another christian war after all.

      I'm really curious how you think they stopped him? How does that actually work? Like if Ukraine actually wanted to surrender, what was NATO going to do if Ukraine simply signed a deal with Russia? Invade Ukraine themselves? The only real influence NATO has over Ukraine is whether or not they send weapons, but if there was a peace deal then Ukraine wouldn't need those weapons anyway, so NATO would have zero influence, let alone control.
      And besides that, what would a peace deal actually look like? Ukraine gives up internationally recognized Ukrainian territory in exchange for promises of peace? Russia ALREADY promised to respect Ukrainian borders, which they subsequently broke. Any peace deal that depends on Russia being trustworthy (as opposed to something like Ukraine being in NATO so Russia simply couldn't attack them even if they wanted to) is just giving Russia a chance to regroup and attack again in the future, so why would Ukraine take that deal? Meanwhile Russia would never willingly allow Ukraine to join NATO; Russia has made it very clear that they fundamentally reject the idea of Ukraine as a sovereign and independent state. Genuine question: what peace deal would be, or would have ever been, even remotely acceptable to both sides?

    @namur-iq6ih Před 28 dny +5

    Kiev knows that even regular supplies of Western weapons won’t be enough to turn the tide. Western doctrine in regard to Russia was defined even before the start of the full-scale conflict: the idea was to fight Russia “with the hands of” Ukraine and on Ukrainian territory. The goal was to force Russia to play by Western rules (ideally, by defeating it on the battlefield) and reassert the US-led bloc's shaky global hegemony. But, at the same time, officials wanted to minimize their own risks and avoid being drawn into a direct military confrontation that could result in a nuclear war.
    The second staple of this doctrine - a total trade war - has not yielded the desired results. In 2022, it became clear that the West overestimated the degree of its control not only over the international financial system, but even over its own financial flows. Despite certain losses and additional costs, Russia has been able to replace old trade ties with new ones and to do so with a minimal loss of revenue. The severe sanctions imposed by the West on its own companies turned out to be quite useless, since for the most part Russia continues to receive the latest Western products and technologies.
    As for the idea of defeating Russia on the battlefield, the turning point occurred in the summer of 2023. After the failure of Ukraine’s counteroffensive, it became clear that the AFU would not be able to impose peace on its own terms. The problem is that in the conflict with Russia, the West has gone ‘all in’ and any military outcome that could be regarded as beneficial for Moscow - even negotiations on an equal footing - would now be regarded as a defeat. The whole world would realize that they can stand up to the hegemon and not just avoid becoming an outcast, but even gain some benefits. The West cannot allow this, since it could cause a chain reaction on a global scale.
    The logic of the conflict is pushing the West towards the choice that either intervening directly and fighting Russia on its own or starting serious negotiations with Russia on the topic of Ukraine’s NATO membership and, more broadly, security in Eastern Europe.
    Paradoxically, though, the West has chosen a third option: doing nothing. And it’s not just because of inertia, but also down to the weakening position of globalist elites, who have many unsuccessful ‘crusades for democracy’ behind them, from Vietnam to Afghanistan.
    As of now, the AFU is growing weaker, the scale of the hostilities is growing, and the chances of the West directly entering the war, with potentially catastrophic consequences, are increasing every day. In the fall of 2022, before the limited mobilization in Russia, 10-15 NATO brigades could have turned Ukraine’s notable but rather meaningless victories near Kharkov and Kherson into a strategic success - for example, they could’ve ensured a breakthrough to the Azov Sea and a subsequent blockade of Crimea but now it would take a lot more effort to simply support the front.
    The reason for the West’s indecisiveness is clear: it fears an escalation of the conflict. Russia is the world’s largest nuclear power and President Putin has repeatedly stated that he will not tolerate a widespread NATO intervention, which will result in a nuclear war.
