The Lee train flashback scene in the final season literally broke me. I don’t think anything will ever give me the same emotions.
It made me cry so hard, because it was so clear how much clementine still missed Lee even 7 years after his death.

earlier in this scene, lee tells clem he’s been bit and is dying. she says “lee.. please don’t be one of them..” even just thinking about it makes me tear up. the VA’s from Telltale’s TWDG are phenomenal

I knew what the ending of the season was going to be, and had even watched it before playing. I didn't expect it to still be so impactful after actually playing through Season 1.
I always had clem shoot lee. In reality its rough and not fair but its somthing she needed to do. If she was gunna survive she had to be tough enough to make the hard choices. I replayed every season like 5 times to try and see everything. I wish these games were still made.
They made a few comics about Clem after Season 4, but it's horribly written to the point that it makes no sense. On a lighter note Telltale is releasing The Wolf Among Us 2 next year, perhaps their most ambitious game at this date, we'll see

I always wondered what would have happened if lee didn’t get bitten and die, how strong him and clem could have been together, being reunited with kenny and taking down carver if they had gone down the same storyline with lee still being alive to be there for clem.

My brother downloaded this game from game pass a while ago and called me to watch him play. He had never heard about the game before, but I did. I didn't get any spoilers but I knew the basics: be careful with every step, don't trust anyone etc. I explained to my brother that it was a game of choices and he got really excited to play. He played the first episode while I watched him, and we made most of the major decisions together. I played the other episodes while he watched and helped me with the choices. We finished the first season last week. As male brothers with a 5 year gap between our ages, we usually don't show emotions when we are around each other, but as Lee was dying and helping Clem, we just got completely silent and watched everything happen. So many tears were coming out from my eyes and my nose started to get messed up, but my brother was sitting behind me, so he couldn't see me and I couldn't see him. We heard the gunshot, we heard Lee's last breath and we just kept silent while the credits were rolling. As I said, we usally don't show emotions when we are around each other, but the credit's song had been playing for a while and I decided to finally take a look at him. He was crying as hard as I was, and we just gave each other a sad, crying smile and looked back at the screen. Such a powerful game.

I played through that not too long ago. It’s making me well up just typing this out. But that was the hardest, ugliest cry I have ever produced. Knowing she still needs you, and there is nothing you can do as you are running out of time. All you can do is hope she survives with all the tools you give her. I had to force myself to sit and watch it all. After the screen went black i just fell on the floor sobbing.

1: They’re back, and two, Lee being alive wouldn’t stop them from going bankrupt, Lee dying was planned and was needed. Telltale went under for a while because they made lackluster games with shit stories and they suffered because of that. S4 was the only game they worked on in 2018 so they made sure the story was good

I’ve never had a child of my own but after guiding Clem through her life and see the choices we’ve made I’m so proud of her and Lee. I wish there was more games watch her start her own family or whatever. I really need that conclusion. But the one thing still haunts me is watching her cry so hard for Lee and begging him not to let her shoot him 😭😭😭😭😭
