I’m so happy his career has reached this level . We met him in the airport on our honeymoon and he was such a nice person in real life plus extremely humble despite the popularity of the show .

These spinoffs are so much better because AMC has finally opened their purse strings wider and given TWD universe a much bigger budget to work with. This looks amazing.
Not to mention they're going back to dark and gritty. Not violence and blood for it's own sake but not shying away from it when it's part of the narrative. After Negan showed up they axed and re-shot so much shit to appease the 'Little Timmies' that had stayed up past their bedtime and seen the batting and cried to momma. It needs to be dark again. It got so plastic Disney the last 3 years of regular Walking Dead.

Season 6-10 has been dramatically more expensive than Season 3 4 5 in terms of production budget and cast salary. You guys are ignorant. AMC has been giving the main show much bigger budget than early seasons.

I live in Paris, last week I was taking an evening walk like I usually do especially in summer and I randomly felt on a massive set. I had already seen sets in Paris but they were tiny and had absolutely nothing special. Here, there were security guards everywhere, safety barriers, caravans, some sort of crane, huge spotlights, etc. The security wasn't allowed to tell anything but someone told me it was for TWD, then I knew... As a French, it's kind of weird to think that Norman Reedus was just a few meters away from me. 😅😆
Edit: I didn't precise that the set was at the Louvre, right next to the pyramids so that's what we'll certainly see in the next episodes. 😋
Happy for Norman, for sure. He and the writers have made an incredibly memorable and beloved character from scratch. Looking forward to watching this. Of course he's wound up babysitting again!

Okay, i've just seen the first episode and I loved the nuns fighting and dying for the boy, those nuns were baddasses. This show is superior than Dead City, so much better.

From a side character that was invented for the show and just due to the impeccable audition from the astonishing Norman Reedus, to the main, beloved and relatable character, to getting your own show. I watched the walking dead from the very beginning when it first air october 2010 with my dad. It was our favorite show. Even after he died, I still watched it to this day. Our favorite character is Daryl, so I'm glad he gets his own series.

I think you’re right my theory is that’s why he went to France. I think he found Rick in the CRM was trying to take him and Darrell said take me let Rick go back with his family so now Darrell hast to do a mission for the CRM and then he gets to go back and the same thing is going to happen with Maggie and Negan and she’s going to get her son back and I feel like all three spinoffs are going to lead all back to the Commonwealth and there’s gonna be a big reunion. That would be the best way to do and it’s breaking bad somehow is in the same world and we find out that Walt’s math is what caused the outbreak, and somehow Jesse ends up part of the crew that be a little bonus

I love the scenery, cinematography and lighting used here. It fits and will probably add lots to the show. I also would have to say that he’s my personal fav character from TWD, same as most people. I actually like this trailer a lot. I mostly only followed TWD from seasons 1-7 but once I’ve watched the rest I’ll get straight to this. Looks good.
I don't know why he's people's favorite character. He literally has no character development. He's a tough guy with a soft heart, basically from the start till the end, nothing really happened with his character.
My favorite is Carol, she goes from an abused housewife to a total badass and has some chaotic moments getting there. Rick is also great and Eugene.
@@taserrr I usually don’t like a character if their development is 100% nonexistent or if they’re just poorly written in some way or another but I’d say he is neither. He has had some development, not saying tons, not saying a lot, but as well as that I do really like Rick, and his character is way more complex and interesting, which I can easily admit. Shane, I liked him a lot, too. It’s more the badassery, skill, and heroism tropes I like when talking about Daryl. And the portrayal is good.
I like Daryl too but again, no idea how he's somebody's favorite character because he's so 1 dimensional without character development. It's great to have a character in the show like that, but it's still a bland character in the end.@@Xldldoom0

Daryl is one of my favorite characters. I started to develop a strong interest for this character during the second season of the TWD. I loved how he was devoted to finding Carol’s daughter when others gave up hope. This spin-off looks very interesting and reminds me of his deep devotion towards helping others. I will definitely be watching.

This looks insane. Daryl is my favourite character in any show or game ever and seeing him finally get a fresh start in a new show with ties to the old one seems to be really interesting so far. I wonder how this whole 'revival of humanity' story is going to play out. Is the kid immune? Or is it just another religious delusion? I'm excited to find out!
I thought the kid was praying while there were walkers behind him, but they did not notice him. Perhaps he is immune in a way that the walkers ignore him despite not being covered in any guts

@@niall9026 I'd say it does. There are splashes of hope in TWDU, such as the Commonwealth, PADRE and the CRM. The 'revival of humanity' could very well lead the next generation of humans to become the ones to lead our species to peace and possibly to outlast the walkers' decomposition.
