Felix I honestly think that this match clearly showed that you can be confident playing a little bit more aggressive in future competition! Take the ball early and try to finish points quicker especially against better ranked players 💪🏼
Yeah, if anything this shows you that you can play pretty high up there and the goal of top 100 isn't as far away as you think it might be.

I gotta say, as someone who has watched all of your recent progress videos, the best tennis you play is when you get super aggressive really go for your shots more. Idk if today was just a good day for u and u were feeling it, or if playing indoors helped drive ur balls more, but man u were rlly sticking it to him in some of those points. Well done 💪🏽

I watched popyrin in the us open against Evan’s that was an unbelievable match
That match was incredible
I think Popyrin celebrated just a little bit at 11.40, it just shows how professionally these pros take every single game. I've actually watched Popyrin live and he has margin to progress in the rankings to top 50.

Felix, I think you play at an extremely high level on hard courts, and are probably better on hard court compared to clay. Maybe your next futures on a hard court might be the one where you get your first ATP point. Amazing video, and good luck with the rest of your journey. playing these type of Top players always elevate one's game MASSIVELY, i'm pretty sure you're going to get your 1st atp point in the next match. Playing against a Top 100 in the world is game changing. KEEP IT UP
I like how you didn’t go into the match wanting to get a game or two. It was clear that you wanted to win, and you had belief that if you managed to struggle to hold serve, you could potentially sneak a return point in the tiebreaker and get the set. That’s an awesome attitude.
I think this will be quite a confidence booster going into your next matches knowing that you have what it takes to go head to head with the top guys… well at least on your serve.

It would be fascinating to see how often top 50 players are able to get into Popyrin’s backhand. His forehand and serve just seemed rock solid whenever he had a sniff at getting aggressive.
Not only is your tennis improvement constantly moving forward but your style on how you do the videos is also very watchable; it’s at least at TV production level, absolutely love seeing your progress, Noah is really impressed how it’s going for you , so exciting; keep it up it’s great.

Man, idk how i haven't discovered this channel yet. Your content is so great for the amateur/semi-pros that are curious about the insights of a pro. I'd really be curious if i could get you a game or two, but you seem to be really fit and agressive. Keep working and you'll get there. I can see you transitioning to the challenger circuit in a couple of years and from there nobody knows but the sky is the limit. Well played match. Your serve +forehand combination is getting better and better. I remember watching Tommy Paul as a junior and noting how often he chipped his return, and also how good his chip return was. Super important shot against huge servers. Again, great playing.
