The problem is not the loss itself, it’s the way he lost.
Exactly. Not a Hail Mary, one punch ko. It was a methodical beatdown.
Yupp. Got his ass beat for at least 4 rounds.
I know! Ruiz systematically broke him down. It was so lopsided.
The left hook and overhand right thrown by ruiz in round 3 did most damage, and he continued to control the fight. Ruiz was patient and could have stopped joshua in round 4 but he didn't take that chance.
Daniel Rossi the first drop looked ridiculous, like he slipped on oil. Shocking.
Get drake in Ruiz’s changing room before it 😂
What the context for this Drake thing going on?
He'd never have that soft sissy in his changing room
The funny thing is drake takes pictures with loads of famous people but they highlight the people who don't get the right result
😂😂😂
Lol drake goes for the Raptors n they on the NBA finals so if he joins Ruiz he wining lol
Ruiz won because he is a better and more aggressive fighter.
No excuses.
The best man on the night won...... There are no excuses.
The reason why he was the better man on the night could be down to many things from either fighter.......performance, styles, tactics, ability, hype, nerves, injury or underestimation to name a few....... the rematch may just let us know if it was down to Joshua losing or Ruiz winning.
@earaza and i guarantee if Ruiz wins, you and the likes of you will no longer be around, bandwagon bitch
Lol
Michael owen here
Calm down lad
Most anticipated rematch involving a British fighter will be Fury-Wilder. That's the fight I can't wait to see
That's coz furys comeback was genuine and the fake comeback Hearn and Joshua are trying to engineer comes across as baffling to everyone
@David Mason Eh maybe at some point. Do AJ Usyk first, be a better warm up fight into the HW for him.
Cause that's a real fight.. not a lopsided affair like part two of this one will be.
What makes more money? 😂😂... AJ Ruiz II makes a lot more money than Wilder V Fury II. They won’t even sell out the Barclay Centre for the second fight running
@@alandrewett3610 What the fuck, are you smoking something?
There’s no conspiracy, Ruiz won fair and square.
You gotta give Ruiz a lot of credit 🥊
yes why people keep bring up it was fixed fight or joshua got cold or joshua got dropped in sparring or he couldnt use ped kind of things
Well said everyone making excuses for him, he got caught and never recovered and Ruiz was the better fighter faster and more powerful
@@pauldavis5518 Ruiz is a great fighter. And he is fearless.the Joshua fans are in shock. Or the worst is when two fighters are mouthing off at each other in the pre-fight press talks and then after the fight they show each other respect....... Then these cunts say 'its a fix, look they're best of mates now' ........ Fuckin mongs.
So now they are saying that Josh was in cahoots with Ruiz to throw the fight?
dillian whyte saying he will fight fury for his imaginary lineal title belts is the funniest shit ive heard all week
Fight will be on fantasy island PPV ! 😂😂😂
As much as I want it at Wembley / the O2, ruiz deserves it to be in Mexico, they’re his belts, he should dictate where the fight takes place
No. He was a voluntary challenger when he signed the contract and I'm assuming from the interviews I've seen/read one of the stipulations was if aj loses he gets to decide the location of the rematch.. hearn could have put that the rematch is in Botswana and Ruiz gets 20% and Ruiz would have still signed it.. because he was a voluntary challenger who was given a shot...
Ruiz has to honour the contract make him come to the UK he was lucky for the opportunity in the first place.
The 02 lol behave mate
they have massive football stadiums 100k +
100plus k in mexico ? They wouldnt fill it
The rematch should be at Staples Center or the Azteca stadium
Esperemos que sea en el estadio azteca o en los angeles California después de todo andy es el campeón y el puede decidir donde pelear
Fuck yeah! Ruiz won so many fans over that fight that he can fill both stadiums, not to mention he’s going to visit the Mexican president that is really popular so he’s going to have a lot of promotion going in to the rematch- money wise it’s going to be good for both if they fight on this side of the world
Where ever it is its gonna be huge
Andy ruiz se entrevistará con el presidente de la República y también está nominado al mejor deportista mexicano
So AJ leaves home for the first time to ‘take over America’ and gets battered by a short tubby guy and quits in the ring 😳

He will lose to Ruiz Jr again coz Tyson Fury has already called it 🤷♂️
Nah, he want good on fight day, looked like he had a concussion during the week of the fight or Sommet, which might be why Tyson fury was a right gentleman to Joshua after the loss instead of normal
Ash Mills what’s that suppose to mean
@@tahirk3533 not that i would normally reply to a rude comment but i shall elaborate so you understand a little bit better.
Fury has a far superior knowledge of boxing styles, and he is adamant Ruiz Jnr has too much heart and difficult style for Joshua, Joshua would need to change trainers to beat a born bred fighter like Ruiz Jnr.
I happen to value Fury's knowledge of boxing, he very rarely gets anything wrong... for that reason i will be backing Ruiz Jnr in the rematch.
End of the day AJ and Hearn screwed all of us by being tight fisted with negotiations regarding Wilder and Fury. Now AJ has all the pressure on him.
Course AJ has the power to beat Ruiz Jnr, its heavyweight boxing after all.
Ash Mills still doesn’t mean shit fury thought he was going win against wilder and didn’t
@@acmills347 ha ha actually, Fury backed AJ to lose in every fight he was asked about, upto the Ruiz fight, he said he'd win this one and he didn't Ha ha so just shows you how accurate he is at predictions when he's emotional and believe me, AK makes him emotional. adam smith is a great commentator . Adds great excitement to a fight
I'm sorry but I can't really see things going a differnent way in rematch, hate to say it. AJ looks the part but can be predictable and stiff.... Andy Ruiz has more fight, spirit, movement, skill and legit experience with that hunger a come up requires
Kevin Umebuani i wonder how aj can win this rematch, unless on points with the help of the judges...because theres no way on earth he would try to finish off ruiz if he even hurts him, knowing hoe that cost him several times this fight...
Look up lewis vs david tua. That is how AJ going to win. AJ tried to knock AR early, that was his mistake, he should fight like lewis and Klitsckos, win on his jab. If the knock out presents it self round 10-12 do it. Don't fight like Wilder. Wilder fights like that cos he can't really box.

Ruiz will beat him again. Ruiz is just a far superior boxer.
Debo4735 X Joshua will have to get lucky but he can as he has massive power.
Difficult to make an absolute prediction on the next fight based on this most recent fight alone. Joshua will have studied Andy Ruiz. Thats not to say that Ruiz hasn't learnt a lot from Joshua too and gained a huge amount of confidence from his win but this kind of thing reminds me of Tiger Woods coming back to win the masters. Champions don't go away so easily. whether it be Ruiz or Joshua i'm sure both fighters will do whatever it takes (within the rules of the sport) to give them the best chance of taking home the belt when the rematch comes around. I personally think Joshua wins the rematch. Peace.
The nice guy of boxing. He reminds me alot of Frank Bruno. A big heart, no where near angry enough to make a true legacy. It's sad.
Rolo Bart his anger was shown with Whyte and Klitschko during the end. He's from the streets, but knows what's at stake, so he keeps it calm and collected.
You never seen Ali, Foreman, Tyson, systematically beat down like that. AJ quit after the last knockdown
Correct Will, AJ wanted out after the 3rd knockdown in the 7th and spat the gumshield out after being knocked down for a 4th time 12 seconds later, period.

TERRIBLE idea to go straight into a rematch. AJ should learn from history. That's what it's there for.
why?
@@tomas6983 AJ needs to go back to the drawing board. Recoup. Gain confidence back.
He needs a new trainer to begin with. Rob has been great but there's nothing more he can teach Josh. It's time to move on.
Josh needs to get himself a new trainer and start from scratch, build his way back up and reinvent his style.
Basically, Josh needs to do what Lennox did when this happened.

Better cancel my sky before they shit out when Joshua leaves them, careful Adam
Good point! The title is way worse, and he treads softly but... :s
Smokey Joe Fraser lost title fights to George foreman and muhamad ali and still fought on.
AJ has made Sky Sports boxing bigger than its ever been, so Adam should take a look at his own career.
Love the confidence these guys have 🤦🏽♀️
And no....AJ didn't let Ruiz gain confidence....Ruiz alway had confidence in fighting AJ.
AJ didn't respect Ruiz power and thats what caused his downfall.
WTF is this guy talking about... Frazier lost to Ali twice and he kept on fighting and will go down as one of the GREATS. these perfect record people need to GTFOH!!
Living Shadows that’s an extremely valid point. 👍🏻
Adams the type of guy to buy a ticket to a match and not turning up
Rom Gaming Makes no sense.
When tyson lost it was such an incredible shock because he NEVER looked vulnerable and destroyed everything in his path like no one before or since. He took good shots on the way up and looked solid and totally unstoppable.lennox had never shown any weakness around the chin in his 20 plus fights or amateur career when McCall caught him so again a massive upset.
Joshua however was wobbling and teetering on the edge of disaster against whyte, povetkin and vlad so the Ruiz upset although still a surprise is nowhere near as big an upset as Douglas and McCall.
I am a Wilder fan but AJ is still Young for his career to hang on the rematch.. Come on guys
u say that because hes black
@@bottoysex1957 what does being young got to do with race?
