I have to use 4G when i use 5G my signal is very low on my Pixel 7 had the same issue with my Pixel 6 after a year of using it T-Mobile needs to get their network together

Yeah it's been over a year 1/2 since i rejoin T-Mobile, and the pass 18months, I do see better 5G coverage and better speeds, but still 4G LTE is still just as fast and much more stable coverage with 4G LTE.
I still kept it on LTE as of today, sad but true.

On 5 G Auto I was getting 5 MB speed , when I switched to 5 G LTE , now I'm getting 50 MB speed , thank you

I have a question. My BF has 4g lte. And he use to get great coverage but since they rolled out 5g his service had really gotten weak. I have 5g and I switched to 4g lte like you showed here because 5g isn't doing well for me but also the 4g had trouble at times to. Is there anything we can go to help? T-Mobile had not helped at all . 😔
Thank you for your questions, you can request T-Mobile to issue you a cell spot router, that should help with reception. It's a free device, just have to return the device if you decided to move.
Call 611 and ask them about the "Tmobile Cell Spot router" tell them about your "very annoying weak reception service"
As them them if they have such device, if the say no, then tell them you will change carriers to save you some time.
Otherwise they might waste your time doing diagnostic procedures etc.

I googled what 5g TMobile speeds are supposed to be, and it said somewhere between 30-180mbps but in reality, and i checked multiple times with speedtest, and theres actually a 5g tower in my neighborhood too, im actually getting like 12mbps... not much faster than my wifi at home, but maybe slightly faster than LTE by maybe 4 mbps
Yup, 5G not all that fast in general, maybe in da future will improve, but not nothing special ✌️
@@ProTecStation seems a little like false advertising on TMobiles part.. even on their website it still says like 75mbps+
My fastest 5G speed ever is about 659Mbps in Los Angeles down town, slowest 5G is 1Mbps
Really depends which tower, to be honest, in think 5G has improved a little since I joined T-Mobile, but still unusable if I plan to use GPS roaming between towers etc...

I am from india. Like your t mobile here is service provider called Jio..this month here indroduced 5g. After reading all coment i understand things how works. Thanks man. Actually your t mobile and our Jio works on a system called standalone.. both company first trying to make a good coverage first and this is possible with low band like 700-800 mhtz with sacrificing hight internet speed. Higher band have high speed but very low distance coverage. So speed will depend on tower to tower. Other operaters doesnot use standalone system so they automatically change 5g to 4g..but ur tmobile and our jio cant change itself

This did nothing my internet is still slower then a potato and I keep having to connect my iPad to a door cuz it gives better internet then T-Mobile

Thanks for sharing your experience, for your case your particular spot at home really has bad Data speeds and reception.
My video tips was for suggestion if your are experiencing bad over all 5G connectivity in the general area that you are using, such and GPS loading, or bad data speeds while you are traveling beside your home, give the 5G down grade to 4G may improve coverage, improve coverage may improve data speeds.

If your doors runs out of internet, you may actually try to call T-Mobile, let them know your internet sucks, and tell them how you can get better reception.
Tell them you heard that T-Mobile will offer a free Cell Spot, that may increase reception.
The device is free. Maybe a $25 deposit.
That may boost up reception and connectivity. Give it a try.

I don't think secret APN will boost any speeds, it has more to do with reception, congestion, if your data plan has any data prioritization throttling. You may try, just write down your current APN settings and just in case the secret code doesn't work, then reuse the old codes ✌️
