"How can I flop the nuts every time and still lose?" Story of my life bro
daniel reminds me of me everytime i sign on to play in pokerstars
😆 God thats SOOOO TRUE!! LMAO
Rigged site
@RoyalFlush 2nd i totally feel you
@RoyalFlush 2nd Ditto.
@RoyalFlush 2nd fish
90% of these hands are Daniel getting absolutely cold decked
True story. I've almost never seen anyone run this bad on televised poker since
@@neilgodfrey2669 I mean you have to admit flopping a set of 6's against a set of 5's is an absolute cooler
@@neilgodfrey2669 folding that hand in the spot is - EV longterm. So no he cant be folding it, also its against gus hansen. If it were against say chris fergusen or a nit like that yes its a fold.
@Brett Sylvester funny how hes made millions off of his reads and you sit at your computer in your mom's basement wishing you were him.
@@neilgodfrey2669damn... If you that good, why haven't you made millions playing poker?
Never seen someone run worse than Daniel in this. So sick.
Painful
That’s what happens when you play garbage.
I’ve had way worse luck just not for as much money.
He had to fold at least once on 3
JRB?!
This was the golden era of poker
Seriously
Yes
Could you imagine if this happened to Phil Helmuth instead of Daniel?! Lol!
High stakes poker would change its name to High swears poker 😂
We would have had sound bites for year's to come
@@juniorjebcxD :D :D :D
Chairs flying
I think the sound guy would wind-up breaking the bleep button.
I really enjoyed watching these games. Gabe Kaplan and Mike Sexton are the best commentators by far ! 👏
I dealt to the both of them for years. I complemented Mike for his fine kob
Gabe is the best Poker commentator of all time. Every poker channel that I watch no one compares to this man! Absolutely in tune with the game, relays the players probable thoughts, I love the man's commentary. Give him a million when he retires.
I agree. The others either have really annoying sounding voices or just act overly excited when a card comes out.
the commentary was edited in after the shows were recorded
I bet Doug Polk watches this on the daily.
Nothing will quench Doug's thirst.
@Cousin Jimmy Farha the ever-misunderstood meme.
I'd say Doug deliberately misunderstood it, for the cringe-rage.
@@Ematched what is misunderstood exactly?
@@lukapookawooka88 Daniel's point was that there may come a point at which the rake is high enough that better pros will stay away from the game, leaving medium- and lower-skilled pros/amateurs. If you're medium-/lower-skilled, the increased profit you make because the higher-skilled players are not in the game could potentially exceed the rake differential. Mediums/lows could be in a better position to exploit more spots that would otherwise not be available had better players been in the game.
It's so complex a calculation that you may not be able to truly calculate it, but the theoretical profit is there.
@@Ematched haha but the rake being higher kills your winrate in a real way you really can calculate. Dont think this is a good point. dont know why he would argue this unless ummm hes getting paid.
Gus checking on the river like a boss!
the great days of televised poker, proper characters, great commentary...nothing like this now just sanitised crap
You are perfectly right !
Literally sanitizer!!!
Agreed.
The very instant that Lindgren shoved, Negreanu knew he was beat 100%. Paired board, possible higher straight, he's toast and he knows it. Lindgren would not make that move unless he has it. Never a doubt in mind. Of course, he makes the frustrated tilt call...
Yeah, the only thing Daniel could beat in that spot was a bluff and there is no way Lindgren would be bluffing there.
The way Daniel runs here, is like playing on global poker every hand for me!!
More like pokercons I mean pokerstars 🥴
He deserved it for mocking Hellmuth every time it happened to him.
No one has had worse luck then Daniel on HSP! I saw Daniel at the 2009 WSOP and tried asking him abt the infamous Quads hand vs Gus Hanson and he said we don’t talk abt HSP lol 😂 Who could blame him
So HSP is televised fight club?
@@SB-xe3pj only if that's the second rule, too.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW GUS HAS MADE QUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADS. lol love that line..
Amazing line innit
This should be renamed how many times can Negranu get screwed over.
And over... and over...
ah he does alright. Season 1 Episode 1 of this show is basically just Daniel non stop winning.
Gus’ check on the river is unreal
Absolutely perfect. Especially for a guy with a loose reputation. It was very clever.
When Todd Brunson raises you know he's got the nuts
I wasn’t happy on the flop.. if I flopped a set I’m putting my car keys on the table, that’s why normally I walk home in the cold and empty pockets.
😄😄😄
People find KIA vehicles enticing in your neck of the woods?
Daniel having really bad luck on poker after dark Only shows that you might get unlucky sometimes but showing his career as a whole is an example that clearly shows you win in the long run, we all go through rough patches and he's he is just as human as the rest of us. just successful threw it all is all.
I miss this show... This is when poker players were still thinking straight and gambling in spots where you should never fold
What you mean never fold, losing whole stack instead? Poker has evolved a lot it’s like saying people shouldn’t use guns but go back to bow and arrow
@@apoc3037 no its playings odds with half ur bankroll so u need loans lolol makes great tv
Daniel really needs to understand that everything he does at the poker table conveys information
You can't be all loosey goosey
Yeah lol talk to Daniel, the #3 poker player of all time based on earnings, about table mannerisms and tells
@@lmhvfd whoosh
@@gazlink1 OK ill bit mr smart guy what's the joke
@@lmhvfd thats danielle's slogan for his poker school.
You can rename this to "High Stakes Poker Best Suckouts Hands ft. Daniel Negreanu"
Love gabe on the mic simply the best I miss this game
Missing the best line of commentary at the end when Gabe says that is the face of someone who just lost 300k
Naw when Doyle chimes in and said, “that’s it! He got stiffed!”
It is funny how 15 or so years later that Negreanu is the rare player from HSP who still has enough of his own money to play these stakes when he seemingly lost $1 million over the course of the series. 😅😅😅 TV poker can be deceiving.
@t- milt also take into consideration he didn't pay for his buy ins... his sponsors fronted him his buy ins. He made A LOT of money of sponsors and being the face poker sites
@t- milt the tournament wins get (and keep) sponsors. The sponsors got and kept him rich.
Daniel and all of these people would be broke as a joke playing on their own dime.
@t- milt greenstein is broke dude... at least in their world to their standards.. do a little research my man
Yes, Negreanu is still loaded but a lot of his earnings are from business ventures both in and out of the industry and being probably the #1 ambassador
Negreanu got crushed on those HSP episodes and his online graph is awful. He's cashed out a lot on business. But as far as Greenstein goes even Negreanu in an interview talks about Greenstein "not having money" that tells me you haven't done your research
@trueman mann kind of the point I'm trying to make
This video should be renamed to,
"The Season of Daniel Getting Shit On."
Should have been called “Watch Daniel Negraneau giveaway a million dollars.”
The most frustrating part was watching him call on the river each time knowing he’d been drawn out on and was losing. The only hand he really couldn’t get away from was the one with Gus Hansen. I’ve never seen someone cold decked for so much money.
So many comments here thinking that Daniel made some bad calls.
For god's sake, most of these were coolers that couldn't be avoided.
Its such a joke to see that people thinking they are a better poker player than Daniel...
The hand where he had flopped the nuts against Lindgrens straight.....it was a bad call. He couldn't beat anything except a stone cold bluff. Even k10 beats him. The rest of the hands, there is no getting away from. Daniel is good enough to get rid of the straight but he was tired of getting out drawn.
If you think Daniel, played well, then u r unqualified .
For real! All the wise guys would’ve done the exact same thing if they were in his shoes! “I would’ve easily folded!” “That was an easy to spot bluff!” BS!
I've been playing poker since the 60s in various forms, and I've always adhered to a rule taught me so many years ago I can't remember who said it to me. And that rule is , it is better to fold and be wrong than to call and be wrong. The flopped straights I probably fold, the 66 probably not, depends on my read and perception of my opponent. That's my 2 cents, for what it's worth to whoever bothers to read this. If you play this game long enough, you'll find that sometimes your the windshield, and sometimes your the bug.
How are you going to fold to Elezra with flopped straight when we just saw him stack off with KJ? Agree on Lindgren
Yeah he always has like the worst great hand. Only better hands would play for whole stack
If you didn’t know already, Juanda has twips
Waoooww back to my memories. Maybe 14 years ago i watched this episode. i have never forgotten that fighting between Gus and Dan.
Gus checking quads on the river, brilliant, that wheeled negreanu in...unbelievable hand.
Negrano wasn't going to lay down that hand even if gus would of went all in immediately.
@@davidsandall maybe not
@@davidsandall You would only lay that hand down in a PLO High game.
The perfectionist in me says you really should have edited it chronologically with Daniels last two hands, even if the Gus one was the better.
Get back to uploading footy you bastard
Eric lingren, great hand, he was nervous but had trust in his pair of kings. Eveb after a big raise..well done, great fun to watch
Gabe Kaplan was by far the greatest poker prognosticator of all time. Wish he was still doing it and poker was back in its heyday
The best era of poker❤
Doyle calling his props and Eli laughing is magic lmao
Yeah what was going on there?
@@scottjohannsen541 doyle is known for sleeping props when the flop lands and he actually saw it and was so excited he couldnt get it out of his mouth fast enough lmao and Eli just enjoyed it. He tried to say stiff jack lol
Dude shut up
Geez Daniel took an ice cold beating this game. I've never seen so many huge draw outs.
This was unbelievable what was happening to Daniel! Never seen anything like it!
Dunno if it's the editing but it always seems that Mike makes decisions when he's got monsters so damn quickly. It happens all the time too, seems like such an easy tell... Plays super tight all the time and snap check raises you without thinking for more than 5 seconds about how the river has affected the board..
14:51.
Any good poker players knows this feeling all too well. Some days and sessions it feels like the poker gods are truly conspiring against you. Run bad is real. Nobody can escape it. You just hope to avoid it or snap out of it asap.
Wish we could all watch the full seasons of these classic poker moments..
You can. They are all available on PokerGO.com
Super tough shove on the turn for Eric Lindgren with the KK....I might've just folded since Eli is repping such strength
In 2020 its a tough call. Back then top pair good kicker was almost always just getting it in. If they have an over pair, hope to make trips.
13:05 Classic one liner from Doyle 🤣🤣🤣 his throwaway comments were class
Coldest deck I've ever witnessed in the game of poker. So sick for dnegs
18:46 Did Gus there just say "Uuh ... fives" to himself? 🤣
I think he said "five", i.e. five thousand, which was the bet that was made.
Love to watch that again. That was really good season.
(Just not for Daniel 😉).
Should of just named the video “Daniel Negreanu top losing hands on high stakes poker season 2”
"I wasn't too happy on the flop..." BUUUULLLSHIIIIT!
THE GOOD OLD DAYZZZZZ !!!
Wonder if there will ever be another high stakes poker game on TV again
All-New season of High Stakes Poker is coming to PokerGO.com in December!
Eli Elezra reminds me of Sascha Baron Cohens Mossad agent character.
On that second hand my amateur self would have followed in with A5 off. Its so trappy, I love it when it hits. And it hit 😂
My favourite part was when Daniel Negreanu played that hand against Eric Lingard. Thanks Poker Go. 😂
Why did you guys take the full seasons down?
It’s so crazy how different the game looks now a days . Totally different players .
LOL Gus said he wasn't too happy with pocket 55 on a 9-6-5 rainbow flop
This video should be renamed: “Bad beat Daniel”
David Grey: “who farted?”
This is just crazy, helmut cries for nothing
Dnegs such a positive guy despite so many bad beats
I recently had a day where I got it in 8 times being. 9:1, 8:1, 7:1, and 6:1 favorite pre flop and on the flop and lost every single time….when you play so well and get hit with runner runner or 2/1 outted EVERY time it’s just crazy bruh…
So sick
Some crazy bad beats for Daniel but at least he’s still playing his A game on 2021...
Juanda had tlips
🤷🏼♂️ Why play the Eric hand _where they say_ *”Daniel lost the nuts on the flop to Gus Hansen”* _BEF🤯RE the __#GusHansen__ hand_ ❓❓❓
🗣 NOT SMART❗️
It’s almost like Daniel can hear you guys 😂
Im in Connecticut and mohegan poker or foxwoods poker isnt open yet. Im dying to play after watching these videos
Mohegan is open now
”Finally.. FINALLY.. I got a boat..!
Now, i’m gonna trap Hansen!”
So this is where Daniel built up his karma😂
That is so sick
losing hands like these would have me taking a looooong break from poker
Everytime I have a straight vs two pair I lose. They turn or river the boat. Happens way too often drives me crazy. They have what 17%? Hit 100% of the time. I feel Daniel's pain.
Was Lindgren angle shooting with the "I'm gonna put it in". If Eli says "call" immediately eric can say he was just "putting in the call."
Had to double check that the title of the video ISN'T "Daniel's worst bad beats"
Daniel got absolutely hammered this season. I feel bad.
Wow, Gus has got quads!
ive never seen such a cold deck for daniel.
This hands that Negreanu lost is me playing pot limit omaha. Always have the nuts and lost in the river, but in plo is soo easy to fold 😂
Wonder how Daniel would think of his play now. Surely he had to lay his 9T down to E dog?
I miss this show
This still hurts all these years later. 🙏❤️🙏
these were so entertaining to watch even on replays. But many of these guys were really poor players. No Limit is tough though. High Limit is a safer play in my part
Can't believe he called with the 10/9h unreal.
Even the 6s full played out is questionable...in hindsight of course. T9h hand was pretty brutal as well but as played, agree horrible call. In real-time have to assume that was steam call especially when the opponent was Lindgren. He’s not doing that on that board for those stakes. In a tournament, villain dependent, what level, maybe you make that call but in high stakes cash v non maniac...baaaaaaaaaad
Rename this to Negreanu getting cold decked
That only proves that nobody could claim supremacy in poker.
It doesn’t prove that at all! Just shows short term fluctuations.
The Golden Age of Poker
that check by Gus was clutch
Negreanu lost $402,700 in total on quads against Hansen & Lindgren. $115,700 to Lindgren, and $287,000 to Hansen.
"Eric doesn't know what to do!!" Uhhhh.....no Gabe. Eric is trying to look like he doesn't know what to do.
Sick Daniel
i"i am all in "" hein??! lolll 22:52
Someone please tell me what does Doyle say at 13:02
This is why I could never play pro poker 😂. I just couldn’t take that shit happening to me 🤣
Best poker on tv.To bad it’s not on anymore
When I see Juanda I just know there are twips somewhere
unbelieve match between daniel and hansen lol
Ran like Daniel only once in my life. Flopped nut flush twice and lost to rivered houses both times. Flopped king high flush and my opponent got there on the river with the single ace. On the flip side that same game I also had an all in with kings vs aces pre flop and flopped a king so. All in a matter of a few hours.
Gabe Kaplan the expert when seeing the cards
I’ve always thought this season had the nicest poker chips
