that was basically me when i was younger, like 7, 8 and 9- but instead of stolen food it was constant insults- i never did anything bc no-one at school cared, that is probably how she feels, as well as the fear that they will try and beat her up or something which i also felt at the time :(

The “daycare” workers are such amazing people, you can tell how much they truly love these animals by how caring and patient they are. Incredible people!

Oh little Timpah's face. That's it, I'm deceased. There's a heck of a lot of intense work that goes into an average day with that job, but her face makes it all worth it, no doubt at all.

Amazes me how effortlessly they move through the trees and hold their body weight and I can’t even do ten pushups without feeling knackered.
well, too be fair, it's been many, many thousands of years since our ancestors lived in the trees. humans evolved to travel large distances; we've got the stamina and the speed. early humans hunted down prey simply by following them until they collapsed from exhaustion
Push ups are un natural how often do you push away from things ten times in a row. Do real exercises that your body needs not what Instagram wants lol

No. You re all wrong. Watch the show. Kesi's mom was killed when she was a baby. She was holding on to her mom. The poacher killed the mom and cut Kesi's hand off.
They are so sweet and so smart. We must protect them and care for them. Humans have done so much to decimate their habitat. I pray we can help them get a stable population.
I would do this job for free as a hobby. They are such beautiful animals.

I've never taken a look at so many orangutans at once. I notice a lot of variation in their facial features. More so than other animals I think which is very cool
This seems so much more fun than actual school
Their expressions, their actions and reactions show how closely we are related to them. Its easy to see how they got their name, orang, meaning "person", and hutan, meaning "forest", how apt.

Since I was a small child to this day I have pure adoration for orangutans, they are my favorite animals! Since my local zoo won't give me the opportunitiy to work with orangutans which would be my dream job, all I can do to support is at every christmas I donate to get a calendar! its not much but at least I can show some sort of support towards the caregivers and to orangutans

I can't imagine what these animals go through emotionally due to human selfishness. To be clear, I'm referring to the fact that she should never have been living with humans in the first place, but the selfish humans wanted a baby chimp. Her mother very well may have been murdered even for that to happen. Either way, it is just so selfish of humans to take these wild animals in for their own wants/needs.
