I love when Hisoka shows up. Not only does it make things a bit more interesting and unpredictable in the actual story, but his presence always brings out prime content from Sam and Morgan. He be having them bugging out😅😂

Hisoka's got nice yams. Impressive that he's somehow got a tiny waist.
But yeah, Hisoka's weird. That scene was probably the best / worst example in the entire series.
For better or worse, there's usually some ambiguity when he does these things. Did he act that way so he'd have an excuse to move to the front and start quizzing that guy? I doubt Gon and Killua being uncomfortable fazes him...I'm not going to think of any other possibilities 😅
All that being said, yeah I agree he makes everything more interesting. He's the rare type of character where it isn't OOC to have him join your team for a game. Just following his whims, after all.
He's a super perplexing character to poke at and analyse. He doesn't operate on morality and he's by no means a good guy but he has rare little moments of humanity like earlier moments with Machi and the moment this ep where he gets a little taken aback by Gon being 100% honest with him. That's why he's my favourite, with Gon and Killua trailing narrowly behind.
Remember that even if they did verify player names up front with a harsh vetting process, Hisoka can manipulate any identification he has with texture surprise.
Usually in RPGS like Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy you can input the characters names and change them. That’s how agreed Island works too I’m assuming.
Yeah, assuming so. I love the gamey elements of G.I - funnily enough got into Dragon Quest myself shortly before HxH. Not only is Dragon Quest a series of JRPGs Togashi's apparently into, but the newest main game has a jester looking guy with a Spanish sounding theme tune.
I'll never find that not a cool coincidence, even though DQXI only came out a few years back.

Hisoka vs Biscuit would be a very interesting match. I definitely think Bisky would be a tougher opponent than most for Hisoka. I have to roll with Parker. I think Hisoka has an edge on her.
Bisky's way more accomplished and way more experienced, but Hisoka isn't a slouch either and his Nen ability is more directly suited to combat. Hard one to call.
Togashi cleared any doubts for the most part. Back in october he published the official list of Nen Users by splitting them up in 4 tiers: Great, Excellent, Genius and Ultimate. Gon, Killua and Leorio all being down to great. Hisoka, Illumi, Silva, Uvogin for example were all Genius level(makes sense since Hisoka is only 28 in the anime and 30 now in the manga).
Who are the Ultimate Level Nen Users, though? Without spoilers for them watching the anime: Netero, Chrollo, Zeno, Ging, Biscuit and the exorcist Hisoka is looking for. There's overall 8 Ultimate Nen users(or 8+1 to be specific). Now, this ranking counts full Nen knowledge and ability(which takes into account how much Nen users have mastered their Nen categories, some with higher or lower ceilings) but is not a ranking of the strongest fighters, as some characters are not fighters at all but still Nen users(Neon and others).
But we do know that both Biscuit and Hisoka are fighters and that Biscuit is 57 years old, which explains her being one of the Ultimate Nen users while Hisoka is only Genius level. That tells us Biscuit would win.

@@FuzzyDlop The nen chart is not a strength chart (as you said), because by that logic Youpi (Genius level) would lose to Biscuit, which is clearly not the case. Bungee gum is superior to Cookie chan in combat sense.
