I love those taller terra cotta pots! I love those. More room for roots without using more horizontal real estate. I've always envied the way your micans looks. I can't wait to see it fill out again!

It looks so much better for a trim and repot, and I'm sure it'll grow well in the new potting mix you gave it. I chopped mine up when it got stringy and bare and put the cuttings in water, it's ready to pot up now I think but my apartment is still quite cold and gloomy so I'll probably wait a while so as not to shock it. I love those red leaves!

Thanks Heather!! I honestly didn't know what I was thinking potting up a micans in bonsai soil in a terracotta pot 🤣🤣 And for a time I kept thinking "why does this water drain out so fast!!".
Hi Stacy :)....When your new cuttings grow down they will be thick and lush.....micans grow slow for me....and maybe it will grow quicker with the new potting mix eith akl those good roots....it is so pretty....you see it all the time but glad you did not chop all the way back because of how red it is :) looks so pretty in its new spot....you make me want to go repot something! Thanks for a nice video :)
Aw thanks! I was still on the fence honestly but now that it's all hung up I'm pretty content....for now 😆 🤣. Yeah! Let's go repot something! 🪴🪴🪴 (side note, they need an emoji for a garden shovel).

My Micans is one of my favorites, I’ve got an old iron wall hanging that holds 3 plants and of course I’ve got micans in them. It’s a pain to water cause I’ve got to that them down to water. But today I chopped them to they all looked the same length. But that’s what I do with all my pothos etc. makes them nice and full and same length.
I've gotten too lazy to take all my hanging plants down to water so for the ones that don't have a saucer attached I just go around with a clear plastic saucer and hold it to the bottom while I water. 😁
@@mypetitegarden that what I was doing with that wall hanging but became such a pain that I finally took it down again. What we won’t do for our plants🤦♀️

Amazon has a cool little meter for humidity, and temperature, about $12.00. Just chopped my Micans too, needed some props. You also can wrap a long branch around top of pot pin down into soil, and will root. Can't wait to see it in a few months🌱🤗💚
Thanks! I used to have a a little one that measures temp and humidity in the greenhouse but it broke after a month 😑 and I never got a replacement cuz I got overwhelmed with which one to get 😆.
