I also had a baby in March 2021 and experienced post partum. Glad you ate doing better. It's rough.
I cam here just to see how to propogate this plant, but thought I'd leave an encouraging comment still 😊.
I love your story so much!!! My plants took a toll last year when my Crohn’s disease was keeping me from absorbing iron efficiently. I was always so tired and it made me angry. My body wouldn’t let me do the things my mind wanted to do. This year I’m taking care of my health and my plants. I’m so grateful for that! I just ordered one of these off of Etsy. And can’t wait to get it!
@mallory1324 thank you so much for sharing your story. ❤️ hope you are doing better and take care 🙂.
Thank you for this video! There is hardly any content on this plant out there. Your account is my favorite plant tube account. Your collection has inspired many a plant purchase for me. Glad you and the plant both found your way back.
That is so sweet of you! Thank you so much 😊❤️ I realized that there isn't much info out there in regards to growing the passiflora or passion vine as an indoor houseplant too!
Thanks so much for sharing your experience. There's not a ton of info available out there, and this video is a great care guide. I just received a rooted cutting today- I've been looking for an affordable cutting for quite some, and I'm so excited to finally have it in my collection. It was a bit worse for it's trip through the postal system in fairly warm conditions, but it has recovered beautifully throughout the day. Thanks again for sharing 💜
Hi Stacy. Happy New Year. First of all you look amazing. I am so happy that you are sharing your story with us and that you have been able to overcome your “rough spot”. Your raw emotions are coming through loud and clear. I find that plants are so therapeutic for the soul. I lost my son to suicide and as you can imagine I also went through very dark days and I can honestly say that my plants helped me through it. Thank you for being so honest and trusting us with your story. I am now going to look for the passiflora to remind myself everyday that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you ❤
Thank you Carmen and Happy New Year to you too! And thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your story. Plants have definitely been a big part of my recovery & still is. It's a long journey but I do believe that we will be okay in the end and we have our plants there to aide us along the way. I wish you the best and sending you lots of love. 💕

You can find it at Steve's Leaves.
So excited for this video!! That plant is such a showstopper! 😍
Thank you (❁´◡`❁)
I love this plant so much and I'm glad someone finally made a care video on it.
Also, it is what brought me to your channel and IG and I'm so glad it did. ❤️
I can’t thank you enough for this video! Bless you!
You are so welcome! So glad you enjoyed it!
I love your videos. This one especially...you're a special young lady and your plant collection is amazing. Thanks for sharing your story today. 😊
Thank you so much ❤️
🎉happy new year !
Hi Stacy, she is an absolutely beautiful plant and I love your connection to her as your Spirit Plant, so very sweet.
Thank you so much :)
Such a touching story - so glad you and your passiflora are doing well now! Thanks for the care advice. Mine thrived in my screened-in porch this summer but suffered when I brought it in. I went away and it didn’t get watered enough. I cut it back because I remembered you did that. My cuttings in water failed, maybe they weren’t hydrated enough to begin with. There is tiny new growth coming now so I am hopeful. For those of you looking, Steve’s Leaves has them from time to time - that’s where I got mine.
Thank you Cheryl ❤️ I think most people tend to grow them outdoors and that's where they thrive (I have yet to see them grown outside in my zoned areas though). They require a bit more care when we grow them indoors as houseplants I think 😆. Yes! StevesLeaves carry them but they are usually out of stock so I would definitely get on the waitlist if you guys are looking.
❤❤❤ thank you❤❤❤
Thanks for stopping by!😁❤️
I'm so glad your trifasciata bounced back once you were feeling better, it sounds like it was a really tough time for you back then and I'm glad you're feeling happier now. I've not got a trifasciata, but I grow another type of passiflora on my balcony and, unsure whether it would overwinter well, I left the mother plant outside over winter (covered balcony but still below freezing) and took a cutting before it lost its leaves, which like you did with yours, I rooted in water. Interesting to hear that as an indoor plant you need to water it lots, I may well pot mine up in LECA in that case as it'll make hydration maintenance more straightforward for me. Thanks for sharing your tips!
Thank you so much ❤️I think most people grow the passion vine outdoors and when it's grown indoors as houseplants it might require a bit more care 😆. Hope yours do well in LECA and please do keep us updated on it because I would love to know how it does in another growing medium.
Happy new year to you & family. Thanks for sharing.
Happy New Year!
Hi Stacy! Thank you for sharing 💚🌿👍 My plants have helped me get through covid and even now.. I have an autoimmune disease and have to be careful out in the "world" so my plants have kept me somewhat sane.. 😉
Thanks for the info on this plant Stacy. I've seen this video several times to prepare for its arrival. Mine arrived today from Steve's Leaves after several attempts to get one. They sell out quite quickly. It looks pretty sad, can't wait to put it in an aroid mix. I'll keep an eye out for the watering. Thanks again. 👋🌿
Where did you buy it?

@@mizzy-mk9gx notify me when available is an option, which I used to get mine.
identical experience! this is prob my 6th time watching lol. i keep missing the steve's leaves notification (if you hesitate for 15 mins, they're all sold out again!) so i'm gonna try etsy. wish me luck!
happy new year! nice jacket!
Happy new year!
I’m so glad that you made a video about this plant. I learned about this plant from you, I’ve got two of them both are doing well except one of them I’ve lost all the lower leaves. I’ve learned that will even closing my heat vents in the room enough heat hits the leaves enough to dry them up, but the ones that are higher on the stem are fine but I don’t like the looks of it. So I hope to propagate some to cover that up and in time I can get new growth down there.
One more thing I seem to have a lot of extra floral nectaries, it seems like I’ve got a number of plants like that. I look for any kind of pests but don’t see any I just don’t like it. 😊
Oh yes! Mine does the same, it tend to lose some of the bottom older leaves throughout time. I also tend to propagate when I get tired of seeing those bald spots and it usually grows back fuller. Have fun with it! And yes this passion vine does have quite a bit of extra floral nectaries!
@@mypetitegarden thanks so much😊
It’s always a treat to see your beautiful face…just as poetic and lovely as all of your other poetic and lovely videos ❤
Thank you so much for your sweet comment ❤️💕

A beautiful video about this special plant in your home,💚
💚🌱🌵☘️💚
Thank you so much Sylvia 😊❤️
It is actually commonly called as Duck Feet. i saw it first in one of your videos until then i never stopped looking for it and finally 1 have a tall climbing one... ☺️
Happy New Year Stacy!!! 🎉🎊🎈
Happy New Year Rowena! Yay! I'm glad you found one!!
I love your videos, your collection is so unique! I love how you shared how this plant is so important to you 🥰
Thank you so much! ❤️
Thank you for sharing you story - I love how your mother passiflora plant (and you!) are continuing to thrive after going through a very hard time. I just stumbled upon your video, and I'm excited to go back through your old videos :) I never would have expected a plant like this (that typically requires daily watering) to come back after cutting it back to nothing. Have you ever tried growing it in a substrate besides soil? I wonder how it would do in leca or pon.
Such a beautiful plant. Instant love ❤️. Will start looking for it.
Thank you so much for this! I love the passiflora vine, and I'm trying to make mine happy at home, and so I really appreciate your insight! I love this plant too, and I actually have a passion flower tattoo :) I'm so glad that you are doing better, and I love what you said about our connection to our plants.
Thank you so much! ❤️Omg I'm sure your passion flower tattoo must be beautiful!
I love your content! This video profiling one of your special plants was great. Thanks for the work you do on your channel!
Thank you so much!! ❤️
Hi Stacy, great video! I recently got a passiflora colinvauxii and have rooted two cuttings in water. The roots are growing somewhat but just wondering at what time you decide to transfer it from water to soil? And do you have a specific procedure when transferring it to soil (watering, soil mix, etc.) I only have two cuttings and I really don’t want them to die so I’m trying to be extra careful 😂
Happy New Year! Yeah this plant is still hard to find. Even on Etsy, there aren’t a whole ton of sellers. It’s so cute though, hopefully will see it around more often this year! Kinda reminds of of the discorea discolor, these vines will be popular plants soon I think 😊.
Happy new year!! Yeah I noticed, I did a little online shop recon for this video and noticed there were actually zero sellers currently selling this particular type of passiflora. 😥I truly hope they will be more widely available soon. Yes! it certainly does remind you of the discorea discolor which is also a difficult one to come by but at least that one is more available online but quite pricey. 😆
This is great!!! I recently got a passiflora but couldn’t find many videos about its care. Mine is still rehabbing but I’m looking forward to seeing it nice and fluffy like yours! 😊
Thank you so much! Glad it was helpful! I'm sure it will bounce back in no time 😊💕
Great video as usual, Stacy. She is truly a beautiful plant. Hope this will be a wonderful year for you and your family.
Thank you Gloria! 😊❤️
Happy New Year Stacey. I love the leaves of this plant and as I love plants that trail, I’ll definitely be on the lookout for one. Thanks for sharing 💚
Happy New Year Reede! I hope you find one soon!
HAPPY NEW YEAR! Its so nice to see you. I love this plant.
Happy new year! Thank you!
Happy New Year! Your spirit plant is amazing!
Happy new year! Thank you!
Happy new year!
In Korea, we call it as “오리발 시계초” means duck feet😂
Happy New Year!! Oh really?? Haha that is definitely very suiting for this plant.
Hi Stacey, I love your videos. What about pests on this plant? 🤔
Hi! Yes! I forgot to go over that! I have not had any pest issues with this plant at all 😊.
Plants are wonderful in so many ways. I’m so glad you are feeling better. have you thought of growing them outside this spring with some rooted cuttings? It looks a lot like Passion flower I tried past spring but leaves have no variegation. Mines never flowered.
They truly are and thank you soo much! I would love to do that but they aren't hardy in my area so I worry about losing them over the winter if I do grow them outside although I have heard of some people who have grown passiflora vines outdoors in my zones that have come back. Passiflora is the passion vine which produces the passion flower :) There are so many different types of Passiflora vines so yours might not be the Trifasciata maybe?
Hi Stacey just wondering where is your dog Ollie?
