Hey can I only do bookkeeping and payroll excluding tax for the outsourced accounting model?
I'm interested in learning how non-CPA's can start an accounting firm.
If i am employee of BDO, could i start the business at a side?
Can you do a show where you bring on senior programmers and CPAs so they can discuss whether or not they think accounting jobs will be lost in the future due to automation? I'm getting scared to do my last two years of college because everyone says accounting will be fully automated in the future.
I was having the same thought but you should remember something, as long as there is tax, accountants will be around forever unless the impossible happens.
@@sayeddileri3461 Are you an accountant? Why does tax make automation impossible? Can't devs just update the software with every new tax law that comes out ?
@@ariston111 accounting is not as black and white as one would think. There is a lot of gray area that even AI will have a difficult time analyzing. Generally when someone says accounting is going away they are actually referring to bookkeeping.
You can never automate consulting. Tax and accounting can be very complex at the higher level, and people will pay very large sums of money for their problems to be solved
