I must've seen this in the 80s -- but I didn't have half the love or understanding of these songs or musicians that I do now! I've now gained a greater appreciation of Michael McDonald, who must've thought he'd died and gone to heaven. Many of these great musicians now have -- gone to that great Opry stage in the sk.y, I mean. So glad this is preserved!
The Everlys -- Chet Atkins & Mark Knopfler --the incredible musicians -- EMMYLOU! "Precious Memories" -- "Angel Band", one of the greatest albums she ever made -- oh gee, I can die now.

That’s wonderful. I almost got to meet Mark when he came to Auckland NZ some years ago when the band members showed me around. To see Don, Phil and their mentor Chet is just awesome!

Their feud is welknown....
The love and respect between Don, Phil, Chet and Mark is so warm and genuine that it shines through the music they play.
They were probibly the first country music i listend to in the early 60s..

This was actually the Everly Brothers last year as competing artists. After this they just went on touring and singing their regular songs. They pretty much stopped recording. Im real sad they did. They sounded amazing.
