Ricky Nelson, Don Everly, Elvis...jus to Name a few of the GREATEST AMERICAN Vocals ALL TIMES...WHAT A MAGICAL ERA..NEVER SEE IT AGAIN... 🙏✌️💫
I was always a big fan of Ricky Nelson for sure!
He seemed to slip in betwween Elvis, the Stones, James Brown and the Beatles huh?
I could never say how handsome Rick was his little ole sweet side way smile he had would melt your heart into. I love his music and never get tired of hearing him singing. He loved his kids and him and Chris belong together.she was a beautiful girl also. There will never be another Rick Nelson. Keep singing with the angels in heaven.
He was my first star crush.
Absolutely mine, too!
Ricky Nelson , was good looking . Had a beautiful voice to sing . And put out so many Fantastic songs . Love all of his songs .
I liked Ricky Nelson much better than Elvis Presley!
Ja też 😊@@RhondaBland
He had his own style and stuck to it. People will remember and like him for that. A Classic!
Beautiful songs and awesome music. He parted soon, though.
His album served the purpose of helping me become a goog singer in the choir of my high school years, '65, '66, '67. Will never forget any of the songs he released.
AWESOME Ricky was one of the very best
I love these oldie but goodies. Memories of good times for me. Tks ❤😊
I am 69 and in year 1973 i had a Thunderbird 1966 go cruising and play Ricky Nelson and the girls 'WOW', i must tell you that i am from Sweden and i love american cars and rock & roll 🇸🇪
I grew up watching Ricky Nelson on TV on the Ozzie and Harriet show
Ricky had a great baritone voice, the clarity , of his smooth delivery i could listen to over and over, and i do!
He was such a good singer and HANDSOME.
My mom said Ricky Nelson was the younger version of Elvis Presley!
He certainly was very handsome, died so young
Not really! Ricky sang softer, ballad-type love songs. Elvis was more rock and roll and very hyper at times.
Loved his Series and his family. Gone but not forgotten . ❤😊
What a handsome man...
Loved Ricky's singing. Looks and can sing too. Great combo. He died too soon.
I had a crush on Ricky Nelson met him once years ago when he came to Rock around the clock in St Cloud Minnesota l got up on stage and gave him a kiss on the cheek and told him that l loved him and his music
Wow !! What a great memory to keep Julie . :)
WOW! What a memory!
One of my favorite movie moments was when Ricky Nelson sung with Dean Martin in Rio Bravo
I've watched that clip with them and also Walter Brennan in it too! Great film/ music history!
Just played it
I was born on his birthday how could I ever forget him!
I loved how Ricky sang and how he closed his eyes. He was a dream and he did not move as much as Elvis.
.
Love Ricky Nelson one of the best
For being a ‘good-lookin’ teen idol in the 50’s - 60’s, his temperament was amazing. He had no ego.
Rick Nelson is one of the best Singers ever👍👍🥰❤
Was…. He died many years ago
may he rest in eternal peace
Mary Lou written by the great Gene Pitney, loved both at different times of my life. Ricky came early in my( about 4 ) life then at 7 it was Cliff Richard ( 66 year's later it hasn't changed) l went to Gene Pitney in late teens. It doesn't stop me from still loving Ricky
Ricky Nelson One of Greatest Vocal musicians in Decades🎉😮😮
These songs bring me back to my youth. they are still wonderful.
GO RICK
You still young and beautiful 💐
Well a nice compliment is a good gift, so thank you.@@gilbertquirven8544

Such a talented and handsome singer .. Love all his songs.
ANOTHER GREAT SONG! POOR LITTLE FOOL!! THE HITS JUST KEEP COMING!!!❤❤❤
Favorite singer
He was extremely talented and handsome
Ricky Nelson had a voice of sweet honey. He was also easy on the eyes.
When I was a kid, I had to watch Ozzie and Harriet every week so that I could see Ricky Nelson sing. I was in love with him and he was so handsome.
Very true and so was Elvis.I love the way Ricky pronounce the lyric it’s hard to copy.
Oh, yes, I was in love with Elvis too. @@ernieleem77
I too would enjoy watching "The Adventures of Ozzie @ Harriet" eagerly awaiting the end where Ricky would have a singing sequence!!! He also performed here in the Philippones during the 60's, I' am now 77!!!
I'm 70 i awayes love his music.
Én 78 és én is imádom változatlanul.
Ricky Nelson was a great singer. I had such a big crush on this handsome young man. Yet I was a kid but I knew music N good looks...🦋
He was a talent that was just beginning to take flight, 16 yr to 21 yr. He was killing it!!! And just out of the starting gate. .
And crushing our hearts along the way.
Loved this one teenage Idol. Tks. ❤😊
Exceptional !!! Still love his music
Amen!
I listened to him when I was young! I am 70 years young and listening to his music 🎶 as I write this! Great memories!!!❤❤❤❤
I'm mid 70's and fortunate enough to see him twice close up.
Small venues in Akron, Ohio.
He arrived late one time. He actually apologized to the audience and then bought a round of drinks.
I was driving home from my job when I heard of his demise . Had to pull off the road to compose myself.
I had the pleasure of working with Rick Nelson for his last appearance in Toronto at The Forum Ontario Place Toronto Ontario Canada. It was the 1984 or 1985 season. I grew up listening to my parent's collection of Rick Nelson records.
What a wonderful opportunity for you. Memories...
Rick Nelson the greatest ever, God bless him
Oh what a honey , Ricky Nelson died too young , I will always enjoy listening to Ricky Nelson , thanks Pete ❤🎶
Thanks for watching and listening Lynette ..always appreciate your comments. 🙂
@@peteroberts4033 your welcome Pete, I appreciate your Chanel
😂he was just as good as elvis

What's the cause of his death, age when he died?
C est un chanteur inoubliable, tellement beau, tellement tendre, avec une voix si profonde❤❤❤🇫🇷
The first song, “Travelin’ man” is considered by most critics to be the first music video.
I love this song
I love Ricky Nelson all his song I was about 9 years old I always thought he was so handsome
Ricky forever.
How did music go down hill? I love the oldies this is music I listen to while I play pool with my family r cook dinner. Today’s so-called music is trash and every sea-donkey is a rapper 🤯
I totally agree Keith the song called The Day Music Died seems to have been a prediction of what was coming. Music now is no longer music, it's just noise
I love the 50's and 60's music best
I agree 100% the music today is nothing but noise!
I have found Blue Grass these days works for me and they have SOOO many younsters that fiddle and banjo playing any ways they play REAL Music kind of got into it though Hilary Klug and her dancing fiddleing
The very best time in music Artists could read and write music. No corporations dictating what gets listened too.
I love too lessen too him singing. He’s one of the best singers ever.
He and i were both born in Teaneck, NJ., at Holy Name Hospital All my life at open mics, my most requested song was Travelin' Man.
Beautiful tune and a handsome picture. Tks. ❤😊
Ricky’s voice was so soft. He was not less handsome than Elvis, but just probably less lucky.
Оба ушли молодыми Светлая память талантливым и красивым украсили собой жизнь других
He was so fantastic. His voice was brilliant, and he was such a handsome, handsome man, and his voice was brilliant. The way he saying was just it just was brilliant. He can’t fault it in any shape or form the way he presented himself the way he sang the way he did things his old band. It was brilliant, the whole lot of them they were brilliant, and that’s what I missed today. Is that sort of talent today’s talent is great. Yes but not like back then back then is brilliant. Absolutely bloody brilliant🇦🇺👍😎🌴🌴
He was a good actor too , he played a good role as "Colorado " Ryan in Rio Bravo 👍 Sadly all we have is Angie left , what a beautiful and lovely woman 👩🦳❤️
Loved Ricky and his singing and guitar playing in that movie, too.
Amen luv!
That was a great movie
Ricki Forever ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

There are so many.songs I would have liked to hear him sing!
My wife and I are musicians that entertain in assisted living and nursing homes. We do some of these very songs !!! We had the privilege of seeing his sons in concert and personally meeting them afterwards.
One of the handsomest men in this world 🌎 👏, ❤😊
He had such a beautiful voice.
I liked his music , movies and when his family was on tv
I love oldies they are songs with meanings❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💄💄💄💄💄
These were the days when us teenagers were blessed to have good CLEAN beautiful songs with meaning. Today the junk that is mostly out especially "rap". It's really misspelled when it should be spelled "Crap!" I miss the 50s and 60s. I had my own rock band in the 60s. It was called "The Crimson Blues". We were blessed to rub shoulders with Jimi Hendrix, The Blues Magoos, Jim Morrison. This is just a few. In 1968, this crazy fun woman came up to me, after I finished playing the drums "Wipe Out", and hugged and kissed me because she loved the way I played the drums. Her name was Janis Joplin! Such memories! I'll be 74 soon. I still have my drums I bought new in 1964. I miss those early days!!
Amen!!!!!
good memories.
sadly you met those that left us so quickly.
i was an '80 teen.
but grew up with oldies from across the spectrum (nobody said genre then) granny loved elvis, mother loved do-whop, mo-town & folk songs like peter, paul&mary , she loved mr nelsons songs.
pop liked jim crocre, CCR, paul simon & art Garf. , lynard skynrd, motown, john cash, and after a long seperation. we was together in 1989 & i cranked up some G-n-R and he liked them.
and none of us liked rap.
there are a few songs out of millions that rap as lyrics fit the song structure & is a compliment to the song but most of the rap songs are an attempt to mask lack of ability to sing. imho
Exactly
Great memories that you have had. I also love that era that lots of songs, i.e. rock, pop, folk, R&B, are great oldies to listen. They're classic and timeless.
Yesterday I watched Hong Kong series and it plays "The Sound of Silence" during the show. You know it's very soothing.
Great memories. I strongly share your thoughts.
Gone but not forgotten.❤❤❤❤
I always have loved his voice and his songs.Very underrated. 😊

RIP ANDY LOVED THIS SONG
I started listening to his music back in 2019 when I was 15 or 16 when I watched a Netflix series called The end of the f-ing world where they used his song Lonesome Town. I was instantly hooked! I also have a huge crush on him. I’m almost 21 now and still vibing to his music 💗
He was the best better than ELVIS
Ricky is not only good-looking but writes melodious songs. That's a winning combination.
He didn't write 99% of the songs he sang
Rick Nelson was a fantastic singer. Almost rockabilly rhythm to his music.
I love listening to Ricky Nelson, he was so handsome too. It's a tremendous pity that he died so young. Thanks for this post Pete♥
You are welcome 🙂

Probably the greatest voice from the 60s
One of the best voices ever of that era….. I agree his talent was underrated. He got his message across to the naysayers with Garden Party.
Very nice, Joan. I agree completely.😊
🙌
CORRECTION MS BY PHD
We will always have him in our hearts rip
According to his older brother and hit sons, Rick never used any harmful drugs. So, you can forget about Rick dying of a drug problem. He didn't use heroine or cocaine.
Grew up watching Ozzie and Harriet. Ricky was so handsome and perfect. His music was unbelievably fantastic. Thanks Pete for the memories 🙏🏻❤️🎶
You are welcome Carmel ..Merry Christmas !! 🙂
I had a friend named Paz who sang this to me. Great thanks. ❤😊
love this Song
He died in 1985 at the age of 45. Its really a shame that he died so young. IMO he was the epitome of good looks. It's hard not to stare at his gorgeous face in this vid.
45? Wow, sad but he was saved from the craziness of today.
This boy, Ricky Nelson, was a peach, the kind any parent would want for a son-in-law. Clean cut and very handsome, he came from a top family who had their own TV show during the 50's, in which Ricky and his older brother David featured. As an 11-year old boy, he made his film debut in 'The story of three loves' in 1951 starring Kirk Douglas, Pier Angeli and Leslie Caron. He began his singing career sometime in the 2nd half of the 50's and was a rage with all the boys and girls growing up during that era, who hummed his tunes and used their vocals singing Ricky's hits at local amateurs. In 1960, as a young adult, he made his debut in "Rio Bravo" with John Wayne, Dean Martin and Angie Dickinson. His fame did not wane during the 60's and he charmed his listeners with one hit after another. Sadly, Ricky's life was snuffed out in a plane crash that left his family, his wife and kids and all his fans, worldwide, stunned. Ricky Nelson is still popular and loved even to this day.
🎉
I still put on Ricky Nelson’s songs and singalong to them but my first favourite will always be Elvis Presley .
@@judefernandez827 To each his own. Actually, my top faves are: Andy Williams, Pat Boone, and one and only female is Connie Francis!!!
@@ianedwards4400 very true .
How lovely to see Ricky Nelson after all these years for me - beautiful voice and so handsome. I'm going back to my school days quite a long time ago! So, so so sorry - I didn't know about the terrible plane crash which took his life so tragically - very sorry. But may his beautiful songs continue to be played. ❤l
This was Music fore the next 200 hundert Years and more.Real naturell Voices, not like after 2000 - 2023.Best forever and never😢comes back.
I listened to Rick on the radio, record player. TV and sang his songs while on a tractor. One of the best recording artists of all time ❤ !!! Thanks Pete. Rick was good at country music too. He had album cuts that were great too.
Thanks James . 🙂
Agreed.
Rick(y) Nelsons parents had a number one hit in 1935 with a song " And then Some ". His father fronted his own band Ozzie Nelson & his Orchestra. His mother was the featured singer in the band. Ricky had number one's with 'Poor little Fool" and "Travelin' Man' . His twin sons Matthew and Gunner had a number one in 1990 with a song ( Can't live without your ) Love and Affection. That therefore makes the Nelson family - I think - the only family in history to have number one hits over three generations. I am now 82 and he was my idol back in the day even more so than Elvis. Personally I see a striking similarity facially between the two especially around the eyes and mouth. However, what great music back in that era more than 60 years ago. I would bet they won't be playing today's music in 60 years time
I believe it 4 generation of talent. I read somewhere that Ozzie family were also musically talented.
He’s so cute, and with that soft dreamy voice- Ricky Nelson is too beautiful to be true.
There’s so many favorite songs of mine on here. Truly enjoy this compilation. Your work is appreciated. Thank you.
Agree..so handsome and talented
Yes. Talented and underrated.(my view)
