LED Interior Lights VW Golf MKIV

Upgraded my interior lights with LED lights. There were some challenges here and there, so it wasn't just plug and play, but not too bad. The lights worked great and make my car so much brighter inside.
I found out the problem with my passenger door light. The door locking module is not working. I believe this is due to a bad window seal allowing water and dirt to enter my door and cause a bad electrical connection of the door locking mechanism. The microprocessor is not telling my car that the door is open or closed. I believe this is also causing my doors to lock randomly. Recently my driver side door also failed so I will need to fix this soon. Stay tuned for a new video on that.

Hey, I know it’s been a long time but I just got my led lights and I noticed your vanity not working. In my case the drivers vanity lught is broken because the cable that goes from the visor to the light is broken, it dried out apparently. So yours might be the same. Good luck!

I’ve always wondered what’s that flap between the front dome light and the rear view mirror?

It’s just a mini sun visor. It doesn’t really do much but BW felt it would help stop the sun that sneaks in between the mirror and the top of the window.😆

there is a plastic black thing on the light on the glove box light and i couldnt replace it as it was and now it doesnt light can u please help i will appreciate it much

Nah nothing is broken i just cant figure out how to put it back together the way it was.

@@fadelsonji9920I replayed my video and I didn’t go over the glovebox light. I think I actually was short one bulb so I didn’t replace it. I will have to double check tomorrow and let you know.

They work great. No problems at all. People say all kinds of random negative comments about stuff any never actually try or use it themselves. Or they don’t install it correctly. These are fine. I just wasn’t able to figure out why my vanity and passenger door light don’t work but they were not working before I changed to LED so still need to fix that eventually.
