A friend has a tree she decorates with different themes, Christmas, Easter, Halloween etc and in between just puts anything she feels like on it x

I don’t want to bring doom and gloom into your vlogs but my partner (Mark) of 16 years died on the 4th January. We were together 16 years and he was a great guy and my soulmate. He had MS and dealt with it so well but in the end the evil side effects took his life. This vlog is my sanity right now. I spent Christmas and New Year by his side in hospital. His funeral is the 22nd January and I feel like I’m in a nightmare right now and just want to wake up to find my partner asleep next to me😢😞 xx

Every year there something i leave up from th christmas decorations ... the centre piece on the table, some candles, stairs arrangement and the best is the lit twigs in a large vase .... a little bit of christmas for the rest of the year x

A few years ago we bought a big fake fig tree and filled it with tiny fairy lights. When we take our Christmas tree down we replace it with that and it makes us feel happy 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

We took our tree down but left some lights around the dresser and they are lovely , life looks better with a few twinkles.

I lived and worked in Switzerland 🇨🇭🇨🇭and I did a Swiss hash every week (walk a trail with beer/wine and songs at the end) and had to have a fondu at least a few times a year soooo nice

I wanted to let you all know how special you are. It's been a difficult holiday season, but you have helped me cope. I'm in a terrible depression with odd anxious highs. Rapid diving to the depth. Just started reading Louise Hays ”You can heal yourself". and ordered a book from her about coping as an empath. Both Nadia and Kiki should read them.
Love Miranda and Theo... their Cupboards were great Nads, you need some with rails inside so you can hang up your lovely coats and dresses...

OMG!! you went to Elephant and Castle shopping centre, I use to go to the Palace Bingo Club years ago, loved watching the street dancers and peeps just hanging around playing music, I think I even had a massage in those chairs 🤣

Nothing wrong with a tree staying up. Where I work we have a fake tree up all year round and we just change the decorations and theme for the different holidays and seasons. When I first moved out of my parents house my roommate and I kept our tree up for six months lol. Do what you want!

It is really unlucky to still have the decorations up. I was always told that bad things will happen if we don’t. Mine came down Boxing Day. I was always also told never to do the washing on Christmas or new year as it washes a loved one out of our lives.

Aw...Elephant and Castle shopping centre...used to live nearby. I miss that weird 1970s monstrosity.
We live in London. My partner uses the car for his work visits only because he has to do regular meetings in Greater London. But all other times it’s public transport for us and luckily London is so well served with transport. It’s great not having to worry about parking and traffic. Nanny Di, no walking stick at last. And already checking out the garden.

Several years ago I left my twig tree up with lights but hung my jewellery on the branches. I thought it was quite arty!
Hi Guys, those chairs, what can I say it was hysterical. Seriously thought Nadia you should let your friends help you get organised, you shouldn't be embarrassed as they are your friends and we have all seen the clutter. You do need cupboards for your dressing room and the utility room and Stacey loves a good out tidy out.

Yay...You’re back but I didn’t keep asking even though I missed you guys as I could understand how much you needed a break...especially Mark ☺️ Snap re the Christmas decs 🤦🏼♀️ we are in process of taking them down but what we do so we don’t feel that everything looks plain after Christmas, is to remove some ornaments etc when we put the Decs up and then put them back after. Makes space for more decs that way 😉How about ordering a bear branch style tree that you can have up the rest of the year and put away for Christmas and hang non festive decs like hearts as we do...in fact I could send you a few of the wooden bee themed ones I hand paint (have a small business called Love Bees) and then you can change it to an Easter themed one in the Spring and Autumn/Halloween themed decs later in the year.We have a tree with pink cherry blossom style lights on it but you could get a multi-coloured one or a warm white one which is fab to have on when the days are still so short in terms of daylight 😊 Btw have ordered a rebounder and am starting back on the 7 min workouts from tomorrow...was I’ll prior to Christmas so not done much exercise for ages .

Surprisingly not actually. dusted off the baubles last week.
Also he finds it better that having plain ceilings & walls. He has health problems so not like he can decide one day to take it all down himself. we have said we'd take down for him anytime IF he wanted them down.
I love these massage chairs. Whenever I see one of these I have to spend at least £5, I cannot get enough of these.

Fondu and raclette are Swiss 🇨🇭traditions they both use cheese, fondu mainly uses greyere cheese and is always good quality cheese, there is traditionally Swiss white wine and kirch in fondu, but if you don’t want to use it don’t.
A raclette is using a special raclette cheese (round cheese) it’s melted and and eaten with baby new potatoes and cold meats and pickles
