I was just told about BIG changes for the production version of the Gevi GrindMaster. It is now gonna be:
Stepless (YAY), smaller increments in grind size adjustments, the RPM button is now stainless steel with plastic coating, charger is USB-C, scale reaction speed increased, a clearer RPM display light and a few other build quality improvements. It's nice to see a manufacturer improving the quality of their products based on feedback, and if I get a chance to see the final version I'll do a video with updates about the new version.

Charlie I really like your videos, they are really informative, concise and are a joy to watch.
Indeed Gevi is listening to feedback and that's making me believe more in the grindmaster. they did make it to be stepless, and as I mentioned in the comment sections on other videos they are working hard on improving the build quality by addressing different issues that beta testers had and are making lots of other changes; so now on top of being stepless they went further and are shortening the thread pitch to 5 micrometer to further enlarge its espresso range, and they've modified the structure of some inner parts to make sure there won't be any drift problem.
Also they’re changing the charging port of the scale to a USB-C port. Moreover, they upgraded the RMP adjustment knob to stainless steel with a plastic housing to meet safety certification requirements and, and they are upgrading the back cover, the dosing chute, and the anchor to make it even more sturdy.
They are aware of the little bit of residue in the prebreaker area and are working on eleminating that as much as possible.
Personally I have faith in this grinder and have preordered it with the SSP HU burrs. I really love how it looks, and the feature set are everything I was looking for; being stepless with good looks and robust build, anti-static ion generator, powerful 400w BLDC motor with 5Nm so no stalls, variable rpm and a pre-breaker! for the current indiegogo super early bird price it's a steal IMHO.
I hope they'll keep listening for feedback and keep improving the product further ahead of mass production

Yep, like I said I reviewed the version I've seen but I hope Gevi will improve the product ahead of their launch.

Great review. Assuming the issues you have highlighted are fixed by the time the grinder is ready for shipping, how would you rank this grinder against a DF64V (which you have previously reviewed)?
